What can I say that hasn't already been said? After the 7 month wait with terrible communication, they damaged our siding and trim, the latter was nearly destroyed in a corner after their install. They left a mess on the inside of our house with wood and sawdust all over. After we mentioned this, they fixed it, and the chunk out of the siding. They left a razor blade behind in a house with small kids...I would have had more patience for the installers if their front office hadn't been so godawful. Waited over a month for an estimate. They gave me a four hour window. Left a quick voice mail while I was in the shower saying they'd be here in 40 minutes. When I texted and then called shop and asked for ETA they said I should have called back. Next date was over a month away. I called repeatedly to try to speak to owner. No one would pick up. No rationale explanation for why no one could drive the 10 minute drive to do the estimate that I rearranged my day and waited over a month to get TOO BAD for the owner because they did work before and it was good. Bill was the technician that came by to replace the glass in my broken window...no complains to him, he was cordial and nice and told me it would be done in 10 minutes...that's nice after waiting 2 weeks for the glass and being told I would get a phone call, which didn't happen. Really I've been trying to replace this window for a long time. 3 calls for quotes...never showed. Finally get a quote Feb. 1st, says I'll get a call sometime next Monday when the glass is in/to schedule an installation appointment. 2 weeks pass, and because I am on a time schedule and starting to get worried, I call in yesterday, the 13th to see what's taking so long. Gave me an appointment for an estimate at 9:00 when they didn't arrive by 10:00 I called and the person on the phone 'corrected' me in saying it was between 9-12 and I was mistaken! I called replace several windows on a two story house I had just purchased. I asked them to replace any broken windows on the house only. While I was away, they came by and replaced a few windows downstairs but left the two on the upper floor alone. What made me scratch my head was that they also replaced five small pains on one window in the broken down garage, which I was planning to tear down. First, we have used these folks to replace windows and do new shower enclosures for our home in Trinidad. Their local staff was great and did a good job. My rub comes in when I asked for a quote to tint our home windows. They came back with a quote that was insane cost wise. When I questioned it their response was they are the only game in town so they can charge these rates. Mind you we just spent several thousand dollars on their other work for us so I would have thought on an add-on product they would have treated us fair instead of the glib response about being the only game in town. I was determined even if I had to pay more I would not use them for the tinting and found a company out of the area who came in and to our surprise was half the cost of Eureka Glass for the identical 3M product quoted. The other company did an outstanding job. Needless to say as we replace our other windows we are going outside of the area to have the work done. Oh and by the way for warranty issues the other company has been extremely responsive. read more

Quite happy to recommend this company. They have done work for us from time to time for a number of years, including replacing fogged double-pane windows and repairing/replacing window screens. They were up front in saying I could save money if I brought the screens in rather than having them make a service call. They went out of their way to have the new glass cut and installed in one day so that I wouldn't have to make another 2-hour trip from our remote part of the county, only charged the shop minimum for labor, and the entire bill met their estimate to the penny. I had insurance work done for a windshield here. I was quoted the deductible and then got a call an hour later saying they couldn't put the old one back and couldn't/ wouldn't put the new one in. A three way phone call with the insurance (Safe-lite) and they got the OK ("small rust area was removed") No mention of extra cost. When I went to pick up my truck I had to pay an extra $50 just to get it back. I got a total attitude about how stupid I must be. They broke the law by not mentioning this up front.
