I had a rock chip in December and foolishly thought I could buy epoxy from auto zone and fix it. Nope. Called Glaswelder and he taught me 2 things right off the bat. 1. Do it yourself repair on a glass chip is a big mistake. 2. Trucks driving towards you on the highway can also shoot rocks into your windshield. He came to my office and repaired the chip. Fast and easy! Same trip, same part of 101 yesterday I got an even worse chip! No cars in front of me, but a truck driving towards me. Contacted insurance. Called Glaswelder expecting to schedule for next week. Surprise! He could take care of it today! Another efficient and easy appointment! Got to chat with him a bit, too. He is a good guy. I called Eric after being referred by S & H auto glass because they couldn't get me in at a time that worked with my schedule. Eric gave me instructions on calling Safelite and then fit me in the same day! I have a newer car and wanted the chip repaired before it got bigger. Eric was great! He is efficient and knows what he's doing. I needed a windshield chip repaired, which he got me in for an appointment right away. He has the actual tools for these repairs and not just some kit, which I almost considered buying online (I don't recommend that). I think for the quality and to save from needing future repairs in the long wrong, Eric has the best deal for windshield repair and seemed to be an all around nice person. I had a rock chip in my windshield that looked like it might take off into a nice long crack so I immediately reached out to my local auto glass company. Very nice guy! Came right out to attempt to fix my window. It had already gone to a crack from a chip. He said he couldn't fix the crack but could hopefully stop it so I went ahead and took the chance. It was my call on that. Unfortunately it didn't stop it but I appreciate his honesty. I've had a couple chips repaired. He comes to you, it's super inexpensive, and you can hardly tell. Bit repairs are different vehicles and 2-3 years old with no issues. read more

Came in confident actually pretty cocky and how he was the best. He then would talk thru the whole thing and talk about past experiences and whipped out a a metal tool that look like a thin metal rod with a handle and started running the metal part thru my glass windshield and found to little holds digging his tool in it making it feel like I would have to call him back again to repair what he had messed up. On top of that he was so cocky he said he love how it came out and had don't the same for his window and it's been great for years. A week later it looked like it had continued to crack so I called but he said he would still have to charge me for something he thought was done right so I said I'll wait to see maybe it's ok. Then two weeks from that my whole front windshield cracked now I have a huge line right thru the middle of my front windshield parallel to the ground. I had called him and left him a voicemail and I never got contacted back. So I do not recommend him. Hope no body goes thru what I went thru.. read more
