Update: went to Irwin Chevrolet to have them figure out what was wrong considering they are a…read moredealership. Ok here is / was the list of issues: 1- break pads installed incorrectly on passenger side. 2- loose piston caused by the break pads and now rubbing on the pads. 3- missing hardware / lock screw. 4- damaged / bad calipers Total repair cost was north of $2000.00 the electronic calipers being the majority of the cost. My bill from Irwin that day was $283.00. I drove to VIP right after to discuss this with them. Jeremy Gooden was very nice and understanding and assured me I would be paid for this work. He apologized again and hoped to gain my business back. On 1/24/25 I received a call letting me know the check was being sent. Today 1/31/25 I received the check. Drumroll please......$283.00 no other amount no explanation nothing. I have again reached out to VIP Gary MacCausland VP of operations as he was the one that sent me the check to ask for a reason. I also reached out to the initial response I received from VIP forgot the persons name asking for the same information. So the saga continues. I truly hope this helps people when it comes to making decisions on who works on your car and how they stand behind their work. This whole experience has cost me well over $2500.00 so far. They provided run around answers to my questions, and try to snow ball me on a carfax report (title history report, green box with white check marks). We communicated via their business chatline and via text exchange. They didn't answer my questions. Rather they provided run around information and asked me to justify their information. Hmm, They are the professionals, not me. They claim to have a clean title but never offer to send me a copy. Like the question on the maintenance performed on the vehicle while in Alaska (own house in Alaska, no shop, had his own oil, second owner of a three owner vehicle) I never asked why the vehicle was in Alaska. I asked why no maintenance history for ~ 30k miles, 50k to 82k, (not even an oil change). They had one questionable excuse after another and never answered any of my questions. Their lack of willingness to share information, this just raised a red flag, and convinced me that this dealership isn't being forthcoming. I have screenshots. You can decide for yourself. These salesmen were many things but helpful wasn't one of them. My opinion, they weren't professional and didn't hold up the business's standards, commitment to their customers, and the community outlined on your website. Once, I get clarification from Carfax and my independent findings on the mileage discrepancies, I will have answers to many of my questions. No thanks to the dealership's staff.

Following up and keeping customers is not part of their repertoire. It's all about the one off sale. If these things get resolved, I will put up a positive review. But at this point, there is probably not going to be a resolution. They don't care nor listen to their customers. Our appointment was for 1pm and our van went in about 10 mins later. He had told me, when I made the appointment, exactly what each service would cost me. I brought my own tires and he put them on and balanced for way cheaper than all the other local shops. He inspected my van for less than the average price too. He showed me where I would need to have my tie rods replaced and suggested a trusted repair shop up the street as he was not equipped to do the alignment after the repair. At no time did I feel he was pushing add ons or unnecessary additional services. I would highly recommend going to Kingsley's Automotive for your vehicle repairs. Be advised that the shop looks like a one man show so wait times can vary but he comes out to let you know if anything is going to take longer. Thank you Ed for doing a great job!
