Five stars cannot express how happy we were with the experience - there should be more. From start to finish Ronan and his crew were skilled, professional, and their work is excellent. When we hit snags (which we expected in this older space) he was able to give us reasonable options. And we went with more detailed tiles and the tile work is exquisite. He transformed the bathroom from a place we hated to use into our own personal spa - we had to add a tub and plumbing to the space and he executed our vision perfectly. I cannot tell you how much we love this new space! In addition we updated a bedroom space and installed recessed lighting. Everything came out perfectly. And him and his crew were so professional and got the work done in a timely manner - honestly I could not say enough good things about the experience. I've heard nightmares from friends about experiences and Ronan made this process so easy.

But, we found out our old laminate flooring was buckling due to a slow dishwasher leak, had to be repaired badly. The floor led to other problems and those problems led to a gut job. Let's talk about tiles. Sam's is small but has a lot of merchandise to choose from. Carmine (owner?) was all ears when we selected brand new Subway tiles for our new job plus he gave us some aesthetic advice (thank you Carmine, but we have a style already). One of the things hubs and I appreciated the most was that even when we questioned him about whether or not we should get an extra box of floor tiles to add to our existing 7 boxes we'd purchased back in April '21, for that "just in case" moment, Carmine wasn't hard-selling us into buying another case of tiles. Nothing but nice things to write about. And may I mention, Carmine was awesome.

I walked into the…read moreshowroom completely out of the blue one afternoon for advice on a poorly installed kitchen floor. I wasn't even planning to purchase tiles. Bill listened to my concerns and immediately began to educate me on how to determine if the floor was installed the right way and how I would be able to correct what had been done. Bill was genuinely interested in making sure I had the right information about tiles, the installation process and different techniques to get the best results. In the end, I had to remove everything down to the subfloor but I am so happy that I did because I will now avoid years of continuously having to repair a bad floor. Bill worked with me to pick the best floor tile for the design and price I wanted. He also met with my new contractor to make sure the floor would be installed correctly. It was such a good experience as a customer that I went back to get my counter and backsplash tiles. Bill was able to get all the products to me lightening fast and the quality was even better than I expected. Bill's expertise, compassion and great sense of humor helped me get through what started out as a nightmare. I now have a kitchen that I absolutely love! He and Carmine earned both my trust and my loyalty. I cant imagine working with anyone else in the future.

Not only were they about $1,000 less expensive than the other companies we looked at, they were very friendly and accommodating. When our kitchen cabinets and our master bathroom vanity were installed and it was time for the countertops, they were able to come measure, and create the perfect countertops in less than a week! And I say perfect countertops because everything was AMAZING! They were able to cut one piece to fit around the corner!! Everything fit exactly to measurements! And they even matched up the veins in the quartz so that it looks like it flows from the island across to the wall cabinets! But the master vanity is the most incredible of all. We ordered a backsplash with it for the 2 sides with a wall, and they surprised us by matching the backsplash piece to exactly match the countertop in terms of the stone's patterns!!! We have been in the home improvement business for over 40 years and have never seen that kind of perfectly matching stone before! We HIGHLY recommend using Putnam Granite & Stone Fabrication, Inc at 100 Buckshollow Rd in Mahopac, NY!

This was our first time using this company for the staircase landing leading up to the main entrance and pavers. It has been nearly 2 years since we moved into this home and needed renovation to the outside of our home, so we was excited when Melvin and his crew came on board to help us accomplish that especially during covid. Melvin and his crew worked so hard to be done within the time frame promised which was 5 days and I was very optimistic from the start. Upon completion we hired them again to do the basement because we had to fire the guys who was doing our basement which was at the same time melvin was refacing the front of our home. We asked melvin if he wanted to take on in sealing the floor and painting the basement and so he did. Their work was done in such a timely and professional manner we acted fast and had him look at our backyard where we wanted to add a floating deck by extending it another 15×16 feet. He replied by saying that "He specializes in Decks which was his favorite area of work. We actually had to let another guy go because he was going to be done in 14weeks and he didn't even start yet, and Melvin and his crew was going to take 7 days. At this point it's business and nothing personal. The crew couldn't have been more courteous and conscientious to detail also very patient with my vision in how I needed it to look. When he began, I have to admit that I was skeptical. I just did not see what I was invisioning and describing but that's because it was just all a mess back there (see Photos) Again I'm so pleased to report that the crew worked tirelessly and pretty silently throughout the week onsite and demonstrated respect during their brief encounters with us. Overall the jobs involved waiting for permits, digging, scraping, cementing, building, cutting & painting. Once finished, the cleanup could've been better and that's the only Con I have. I am partial to supporting and maintaining a relationship with a true contractor. M&N has demonstrated the same quality of work from our first project to the current ones. Before the project began, I requested/checked references provided. I also spotted their ongoing work throughout yelp, so I made it a point to privately embark on my own personal inspection as I do with everything. I have already determined that I will be using M&N Construction for our next project around Spring 2021 for now our In-Home renovation and I would be happy to offer a more detailed recommendation and referral if/when needed.
