I'm from Minneapolis, so when we were told about this AMAZING cocktail bar in Pullman, WA, we were like "yeah, right". We went, and it is an AMAZING cocktail bar. Our group ended up trying a bunch of drinks and they were all delicious. Make sure to try the Woohoo shot - it's delicious (strawberry, ginger, vodka)! I strongly recommend getting the bartender's choice if Blake is tending bar. She is absolutely phenomenal! On happy hour drinks were $6 a piece - in Minneapolis a drink of that quality and calibre even on happy hour would be $8+, usually more like $12-15 Can't recommend this place enough!!! We ended up changing our schedule while out there to hit this place twice - it was THAT good!

Prices are a little bit steep, especially for a college town, but it falls in accordance to the classy atmosphere.

It has a couple of different levels & is one of the oldest locations for jazz in the state of Washington. We went for dinner & a couple drinks but ended up staying for a couple of hours to enjoy the live jazz & the fireplace. If you are in Pullman, make sure you stop in, you won't be disappointed.

The service here was absolutely terrible…read more My friends and I came here for a quick dinner on a Friday night. They were busy, but not BUSY, if you know what I mean. They weren't "dead", but not "slammed" either. So we're brought to our table, there are three of us. We proceed to sit there for... Close to thirty minutes. They brought us waters. Didn't take our drink order. Didn't take our food order. Eventually our server shows up. We order food. All simple things. Two of us only ordered fries. I kid you not, I did not see the server again. We waited another... 20-30 minutes for our food. Then, one of my friends and I had to LEAVE because we were going to see a show. My third friend offered to hang back to let someone know that we were leaving. Apparently they brought the food, realized that we had all left, and then... Offered to box the food up for us?!?! They even brought the check to my third friend. I was at the restaurant for over an hour, never got my food, and then they bring it, offer to box it up, and try to make my friend PAY for it?!? Absolutely positively ridiculous. It seems like a cool little bar, but I will not be back.

Very few customers (3 tables full…read moremaybe). 5 of us ordered and my daughter's wings came out 20 minutes before everything else when she clearly ordered them as an entree. The rest of the food took about 35-40 minutes to come out when there was literally no one there. Also, the food we ordered was simple to get out in a fairly timely manner (Club sandwich, bruschetta, Mac and cheese, and Caesar salad). The menu is weirdly specific in some instances and not specific at all in others. Ex: wings come in mild, buffalo, and spicy, but one would assume the buffalo is a sauce but the mild was a dry rub (would be nice to know but not stated). Ex: Caesar is $14 and you can add "grilled" chicken, shrimp, or salmon for an extra $5 (in the case of chicken). My "grilled" chicken came out in cold chunks that looked like they had been rebought and kept cold then just dumped in the salad. When u order an entree salad and they say "grilled" chicken one would assume it's been freshly grilled for dinner, not just a salad that I could get in the deli aisle at a supermarket. Just an overall weird dinner for the price we paid. Service was friendly enough but sparse. Food tasted decent enough but when going out to eat I'd like to pay for more attention to the food than what I could put together with what I bought on my Costco run. Maple Manhattan was a solid drink though. Overall, not a 1 bc the taste was ok, but the rest was super underwhelming for what else is available in Pullman. Probably won't be back.

They give you a bowl of kettle chips when seated which was delicious. We were served quickly, and I ordered a house made seltzer that I believe was huckleberry flavor. It was interesting that it was made in-house but it had a weird after taste to me. We got the Turkey Club as well as their Cougar Gold Mac and Cheese. Both were delicious and I loved both dishes. I enjoyed how the Mac and cheese came with the side salad too, or you can have kettle chips or a soup. Salad was a great choice with the Mac and cheese. Overall I would definitely come back for the food as it was delicious. Ps- They also give SEL workers a small discount which is great!

Proximity to the U of I is just across the street near Walmart and an Applebees. Compared to the other hotels on the block the La Quinta appears to offer ideal pricing. All rooms are accessed inside through the lobby. The lobby opens into a seating area and everything appears clean and well managed. Just beyond the lobby is an enclosed indoor pool. We could smell the chlorine as we walked in the front doors. Check in was very easy and the employees were all very friendly. Our room was on the second floor, and it was easy to access via the staircase or the elevators. We booked a king room. The room had a lot of floor space next to the bed near the window. The room came with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. Everything appeared to be surface clean. The bed was very comfortable and also was visibly clean. They provided five very nice pillows on the king bed. The temperature in the room was perfect for a comfortable night sleep. The bathroom was sufficient. I like that they provided Dove toiletries. I would say that the rooms are pretty quiet as the hotel is set pretty far back from the street and there is a hill behind the property so you really won't hear any outside noise. Our room had a locked adjoining door to our neighbors and we could loudly hear their TV and their voices a bit later into the evening than we would've liked. Once they went to bed we had a very quiet night sleep. I found this super annoying but normal for hotels. Breakfast in the morning was a very simple spread. Fortunately, they provided hot options like eggs and sausage and they had a single waffle maker, which was very very popular. For the price of the room and the included breakfast, I would definitely stay at this location again . This was a very good value.

I was just what we needed of the two bags, a desk, I'm a fridge, and TV and chest of drawers. Everything seemed very clean and the beds were comfortable, offering a ton of different pillows We did have a view of a dumpster which wasn't great but it also didn't matter because we just literally needed to be at the hotel to sleep and then go about our days. They respected our "do not disturb" sign and let us check out one hour later One thing we do not like is soft water and it was very soft so of course that makes you feel like you can never get the soap entirely off your body. But then for a few hours it was randomly hard water but then returned to soft water. So I'm not sure what was going on It was great for the price that we paid
