If you have a dry, dark, sense of humor, you will find lots to smile at and for them, hopefully buy.

While they have a very small selection of clothing, it is very unique and worth the drive. We were searching for an out-of-state vendor they sold here. We were not disappointed. We found exactly what we were looking for and more. We purchased some clothing, earring, and stickers, but found many more items to come back for later. The individual working here was super friendly, talkative, and helpful and made our experience here even more magical. This is such a magical mystical store, it has an esoteric awesome vibe. Highly recommend seeking out this store.

They have some crazy clearance sale an all these housewives run in. Like literally. I have no clue what is going on til a guy hanging out told me. Wonderful friendly folks here but Im not going to spend $40 for 3 items often. Got back to hotel n the pastries were not even good. Def not great. Its not for me

They also carry baked goods and various other prepared foods from local businesses like Zingerman's and Avalon. They do $6 sushi rolls after 8pm every night as well as some excellent deals on baked goods (50% off). The sushi is usually $11-15 a roll so the discount is great. It's not the best sushi in the world but it's very good for grocery quality. Otherwise, they (unsurprisingly) mostly carry organic and small-business brands. They have good sales sometimes but even then you can expect prices to be about 25% higher than what you'd see at a "normal" grocery store. Overall it's a fun place to go if you want high quality products but it's not really a feasible substitute for everyday shopping due to the prices. Will go back for the sushi at a minimum!

Tracklements has an incredible assortment of cold smoked & hot smoked salmon. I opted for: *NORTHCOUNTRY GRAVLAX-CURED - We make a traditional Scandinavian style cure with allspice, coriander, juniper berries, and lots of chopped fresh dill. Less traditionally, ours is cold-smoked over our hardwood blend for a firmer texture, with full salmon flavor and longer shelf-life. *PASTRAMI-CURED - A blend of many spices, paprika, coriander and pepper come to the fore-a perfect combination with the salmon. Both were SO good. But what surprised me the most was the SMOKED CASTELVETRANO OLIVES. Even my friend, who dislikes olives greatly, said it tasted more like bacon to her. Ha. 1lb of cold smoked and then olives ran me $50. Pricey but good value and really delicious food!

I did get to see a bit of the store from a view on the sidewalk when we stopped to pick up an advance order. The items were packed and ready, the staff member knows our host and they had a friendly greeting. But the store is technically closed most days because it is a small family operation and the sound most of their time preparing the fish for sale. We indeed enjoyed both product that we picked up for our visit. We had the cold smoked salmon as well as the hot smoked. Both were excellent and some of the very best I have ever had, and I've had a lot, from coast to coast. On a future visit , I would love to see the inside of the store and the other varieties of fish they smoke.

This store is somewhat dimly lit and seems older. Love the selection of available premade options (spinach pie, lentil salad, etc.) The extensive salad bars didn't look particularly appealing to me since everything had clearly been setting out for a while, but there were many hot and cold choices. The person at checkout was friendly and the prices are higher, as expected at any Whole Foods. I enjoyed the items I purchased, as could not find at most grocery stores. I was there after some moderate snow and thought they could have done a better job of clearing the parking lot. I'd stop in again if in the area.

I prefer the Crankbrook Whole Foods to the Washtenaw location just because I feel like the store is better kept in the employees are slightly more helpful. It's difficult to get service at the deli counter due to the employees talking or just being busy with other things. I do like that this Whole Foods has a better selection. I did try to call the other day for a specialty product and I was put on hold multiple times and by the time I finally talked to someone 10 minutes later, I was not given accurate information, or honestly information at all. Instead of looking up the status of the product in whatever database they use, I was given a lazy answer. Slightly disappointing for how much money we spent at Whole Foods, but you're going to get the occasional lazy employee here or there either way. I feel like they have a good allergen selection so we keep coming back despite the price , but if possible, I tried to order a delivery or shop at the Cranbrook location.
