After reaching out, Marty was quick to respond and work with me to find a time to come out and give us a quote and show us samples. He arrived on time and walked us through the process and estimate. He had a wide variety of high quality carpet options and was patient while we looked at various choices. There was no pressure to make a decision that day, but we reached out a few days after to confirm our choice and book an install date. He texted me with a reminder a few days out from the install, and he and his team showed up on time. Within a few hours, the carpet was beautifully installed. We had considered doing this project ourselves, but it's clear that we would not have been able to achieve the level of craftsmanship of Marty's team. This was a relatively inexpensive home upgrade and has greatly improved the safety of our stairs, as well as helping with echoing and sound (especially for our dogs going up and down). Most places don't sell showroom models, either. Buy "made in NC" for faster (yet still slow) delivery. Most of Ambiente's pieces are made overseas. I was looking for a sofa sectional. The first one I saw was beautiful. Price tag showed $11K. Who can afford a sofa that costs more than a car? I found a suitable sofa sectional at Bassett, but I left the store after I found out it was $8K. "It's 30% off!" Down from 10K. Since furniture costs are so high now, you might as well pick something you like enough to keep for decades.
