We come from the far north, Alaska, where you can find a coffee shop on almost every corner. This place was jewel for satisfying our coffee habit, especially since we haven't had good coffee in over 1 1/2 months, good prices too. They have a sitting area inside, and two patios. When there's snow back home, the front patio is so refreshing and really quiet and warm. We will stop here next time we are in Paducah. read more

Delicious Americano. Overhead frequent guest raving about their favorite speciality drink called Emelee, so I had to try that as well, going easy on the honey. Amazing! Two different sitting areas plus a garden area. Artistic decor with a variety of furniture. Loved their emphasis on quality products and care for employees. I will definitely return next time I am in town. Prices are better than most coffee speciality drinks. Only offer soy as nondairy option. If want Starbucks, then go to Starbucks, if you want a local coffee shop that has everything Starbucks has and more, then you've come to the right place. The atmosphere is pretty awesome and good place to come and study, read or catch up with some friends. Beware of the Sunday "regular crowd" they tend to not control the volume of their voices. The smoothies are awesome but not a huge selection, the purple power smoothie or strawberry banana smoothie will both give you the nutrients you need to have a kick ass day. Their baked treats are pretty delicious too, I certainly recommend the Zucchini Bread or the Chocolate Zucchini Bread. The Frankenstein cookies are also awesome! You pretty much can't go wrong with any of their baked goods. I haven't ventured much into the other parts of the menu as I am not big into flavored drinks, but I have had the "Frozen Israel", you'll just have to try it and forever be thankful that I've enlightened you with that bit of knowledge. In conclusion, when I want coffee, I'll almost always make the special trip from Reidland to Downtown Paducah to secure a cup of goodness from these friendly folks. read more

Hep atmosphere, really clean and warm and inviting! Stopped in this morning for a barista-inspired drink. I chose the "Israel", a hot salted caramel concoction that was excellent, very good coffee. While there I also chose a cinnamon bagel w/cream cheese, and it too didn't disappoint. Their bagels are from local bakery Kirchhoff's and are first flight! I have been enjoying coffee at Etcetera since I moved to Paducah in August of 2009. They are very nice people and take care of each customer individually and give them all equal attention. Quality espresso and cappuccino. Etcetera would do well in any big city with heavy coffee competition. It's clean, plenty of seating, free wifi and a friendly staff. Their manifesto posted in the bathroom declares how much they value their community, employees, customers and the farmers growing the coffee. I believe Blue Bottle Coffee and Ritual Coffee Roasters have the best espresso in the US. Espresso with perfect crema. Etcetera's espresso isn't perfect, but it's really good and definitely the best in Paducah. read more

We came in for bubble tea and left happy. The cashier was really nice and super helpful. He had a lot of good suggestions, but I got the same thing I always get anyway. The tapioca was fresh and didn't get hard like it does at some other bubble tea places. The atmosphere was nice, and the bathroom was super clean! The mirror in the bathroom had mustaches on it which we thought was pretty cool. If I'm ever in Paducah again, I'll return. read more

Stopped here driving to FL. The cappuccino steamed milk was silky shimmery and thick. Espresso was perfect. I don't add sugar to my cap but sometimes feel it would be better if I had when the espresso shot is bitter-ish. This was perfectly caramelly. On the road the next day, had a Starbucks cappuccino- undrinkable after having etc. Paducah was about 5 miles off the highway - Etc was way worth the extra couple of miles. read more

I usually have a strawberry bubble tea made from black tea turned into a slush and with strawberry bubbles. The people here may not be in style for older people but they are super friendly and very helpful! I absolutely love this place. Etcetera is an awesome coffee shop in Paducah! It is located in their Lower Arts District, which is very cute and worth exploring if you are not from Paducah. I was happy to see they were open on SUNDAY (not a lot of things in town seem to be) and even happier when I saw they had bubble tea! Etcetera did not disappoint -- I had matcha green bubble tea with boba and it was fantastic. I ended up coming back the next day for another. :) Sidenote, I also love that in their bathroom they have a list of what their values are as a company. Prices are great, lower than the mega franchise stores, with better coffee. Anywhere from plain black coffee, which is amazing in its own right, to the flavored mixed beverages available. I've tried several and they have always been great. Atmosphere is worth the visit, if anything walk in and just smell. Wonderful. Can't wait to go back. read more
