    Strawberry cold foam

I stopped by Mana Tea in Cape Girardeau and tried their Strawberry Cold Foam Drink, it was pretty good! The cold foam was light, creamy, and had the perfect hint of strawberry flavor without being too sweet. It blended beautifully with the drink.

I'm working my way through the menu with the help of the super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything so far has been phenomenal!

I got the Crème brûlée Coffee Latte.

All were delicious. The salted caramel latte (both iced and hot) were delicious. I also really enjoyed the chai latte with just a hint of spice. If I'm back in the area I will come back to try other menu items. Staff were great, especially the barista he was kind and helpful. The inside is perfect for working, reading or catching up with friends! Parking: street parking is plenty and available right outside the shop. Accessibility: getting in there is a small ledge. They have one stall large bathrooms. The space between tables and area near the counter is slightly narrow.

The BLT (I get on croissant instead of sourdough) is really good but very overpriced. The smoothies are hit and miss. Sometimes they have a good flavor, however a lot of times taste very watered down. They got rid of 2 of my favorite items. They used to carry cinnamon rolls with a maple drizzle that were amazing. Instead they've replaced with a much larger roll but not as good. The autumn maple mix salad has been gone awhile, and while that too was overpriced, it had an amazing flavor and I've not found anywhere else that has it. I've been told that item will not be returning. The employees are always friendly.

Fried perfectly and with the delicious chocolate or raspberry sauce I thought were both amazing. My breakfast bowl was just mediocre. It had all the makings of a great dish but lacked some seasoning and better balanced proportions. About 80% of the dish was just hashbrowns and tater tots, way too much to stomach. The Texas toast was also lackluster, feeling under toasted and small for what's typical of that side. I also ordered the Fruity Tootie which was to liquidy and had too many chia seeds. My sister ordered the breakfast croissant which she didn't finish. It had a dry croissant with not enough meat or cheese on it. Plus a mound of overcooked tater tots. This place could be great, but at the moment it's not.

Also just found out they charge everyone $2.50 for take out orders. When I asked why? I never heard of that , the owner said they have to recoup their money somehow! I have been a restaurant owner for 40 years and would be embarrassed to charge my customers for their carry out styrofom container ( which cost is .10 cents not $2.50. Come on, do a better job. They will not keep customers like that!

The roast beef savory crepe is also tasty -- though a little light on meat. In terms of the milk tea, it is passable. The tapioca pearls are cooked properly, but the tea itself is nothing special. That said, for the price, it's hard to go wrong. The interior could use some work. It's a bit run down, and the paper towel dispensers in the bathroom don't work great. Meanwhile, the service is solid. They were very patient and friendly with my kids.

Prices aren't that bad either even with it being one of the nicer restaurants around here. The crepes can be meaty or vegetarian among the many options. Basically this place is all staffed by SIU students with it being close to the campus. It's a scenario that seems like a recipe for disaster. That's not the case entirely. Can be a bit of a wait of course. The menu isn't that big, so it helps keep things running smoother. It's about $5 for a crepe. They have savory and sweet. Among the savory ones, we tried the mushroom. These were good and light enough that we didn't get filled up. For dessert you can get sweet ones. These include fruit fillings and whipped cream on top. Good place for tea and crepes. It's located on University Avenue at Mill Street. They frequently close for school events and vacations.
