My washing machine overflowed and the flooring outside the laundry room looked a little warped. Eugene agreed and gave me an estimate to cover replacing the warped boards and sanding and staining my whole great room. He offered to throw into other rooms. I told him I liked the current color, and he gave me some samples to choose what I wanted. I chose one and left for several days as is required when floors are being done. When we returned, I saw that it was a totally different color than I had chosen. I decided to accept that until I saw areas where he had not blended in the colors while staining under bookcases cabinet or going around corners and doors. I could actually see brush marks. In another area the stain had not taken well. I have had three homes and had floors sanded four times. This is the worst job I have ever had. He offered to redo it, but with no guarantees, and it would be difficult to find a place to go for the extra week. He did reduce the price, but not enough. We are very unhappy. by the way, he never had to replace boards just sanded down the warped part, so I would never have had to have such a big job anyway.
