Just another five star review from me for the pedicure services at Esty! Loreen is so great at her job-- she is friendly but not chatty, gentle but thorough, and really has an eye for color. My first pedi with her lasted two who,e months it hour so much as a chip. I absolutely love that's he uses natural stuff that you could find in your kitchen to do the pedi, and the Spa Ritual polish is gorgeous. My only wish is that she was available more... Our schedules don't seem to match up often! All in all, a fabulous pedicure that won't coat your feet with a bunch of chemicals and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. read more

One word AMAZING!!! I have acne and I was really worry because I also have a sensitive skin but, their facial are great. I recommend Laureen Bell she is so sweet and have magical hands. I going back again for a facial with her. read more

Wonderful! Just wonderful! Beautiful and calming atmosphere and terrific facial treatments! 5 stars!

I got waxing services with Lacey. She is fabulous and I will certainly be back! She was easy to talk to and made a situation that can become uncomfortable, very bearable! Nice facility, I like that they use natural products and educate you. read more

I love the old, historic home that this business is in. It is a very peaceful and unhurried atmosphere, with plenty of street parking. I have had an eyebrow wax and a facial here and both were fantastic. Brittany did my facial and gave me some helpful tips about products and foods to use at home. Their prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend this place! read more

I am sad to give this place anything but 5 stars. I wanted to love it- location is great, building is darling, staff is wonderful. I have been here a couple times and have always been satisfied. My last facial I left feeling like I had just washed and moisturized my face really well, but not like I had just left a facial. I got extra extractions and did not see much of an improvement. They used kitchen products like coconut oil, sesame oil & one or two more similar products that I can not think of right now, which is great, I am all for multi-purpose use products, but not when I am going to spend money on a facial. The esthetician talked to me about some of the products she thought would be good on my skin at the end of the facial, but because she didn't use them on me, I had no frame of reference and I didn't want to shell out the money on something I didn't get to use, not knowing how my skin would react. most of the products in my skin care regimen I have bought because I enjoyed so much in a facial. read more

Its a historic house converted into a studio. So the waiting room area was small with uncomfortable chairs if you come early and have to wait. Otherwise the treatment room had a relaxing atmosphere and the facial was wonderful. The prices are also very reasonable. Will be back for more treatments! There is no reserved parking so giving 4 stars for convenience but 5 stars for service. read more

This is the best place to get a facial. I have tried other businesses but this one has amazing products and the staff is amazing. I have chosen 3 different people (including the owner) for facials and each person has done an impeccable job, you can't go wrong by coming here. I'm about to move to San Antonio but I will literally drive an hour to come here. The staff is very positive, knowledgable, and helps you relax completely. You never feel ashamed of your skin or scrutinized when you come here. They are definitely the best in town. I have told many of my friends about this place and everyone loves it. read more

The bomb. So friendly and professional, I always feel taken care of here. Natural skin-care lines. Money well-spent. read more

Another fabulous experience at Esty. Fabulous staff..and inviting and relaxing atmosphere

Yesterday I went in for my first facial at Esty. I was a little nervous, but mostly excited to unwind after a long day at work. The atmosphere at Esty is vibrant, organized, and soothing. The room where I had my facial was huge, the table/bed was very comfortable, and the aesthetician was a peach. My skin felt dewy and my face felt relaxed. I think education is important to the Esty crew, which I find really impressive. We had a nice conversation about skin care, and she was completely prepared to answer any and all of my skin care questions. I booked another appointment right away, and I can't wait to try the other services. read more

I first stumbled upon Esty last year when a good friend recommended them. Needless to say, I have been back many times since. I usually just get my eyebrows waxed and go on my way but I have had a facial and it was outstanding. I have had a few different ladies wax my eyebrows since going there but the one I remember the most is Laureen. She is very professional, calming, and makes you feel very comfortable. I have had problems when wax burning my skin in the past (never at Esty) and she does an amazing job of not letting that happen. And the wax doesn't seem to be super hot. Anyway, I would recommend this studio hands down to other places I have tried in Austin. read more

Jessica is a gem. I love that the facial was all natural and that the products she suggested or used could be purchased at Whole Foods - hello coconut oil on my face! I didn't feel like I was trying to be sold all this fancy stuff and her recommendations were spot on. I also really enjoyed my back facial. The prices are very very reasonable and I can't WAIT to go back. read more

It's official: I'm in love. I looked at Yelp for hours to find the best place to get a facial, and I am thrilled I chose Esty! Ella did my facial today, and she was beyond fantastic. She was personable, kind, and knowledgable- it felt like having a good friend work with me. The whole experience was just perfect: the studio is beautiful and cute, the products smelled and felt fantastic, and Ella has the magic touch. I was a little nervous that they would try to sell me a million products that my skin "needed" after the facial, but Ella just suggested two things that I had mentioned wanting to try- I went with one and can't wait to use it. She also was kind and honest about my skin; I think I have horrible skin, but she told me everything that was good about it and made me feel a lot more comfortable with my face (without it seeming at all false). A second thing that bugs me about spas on occasion is when they insist that you "must" get a massage, etc., with a certain frequency. Ella only mentioned a suggested frequency when I asked before leaving, but she made it clear it was personal preference that mattered in that regard. Pricing is spot on as well. Highly recommend! read more

This place is amazing!!! They were genuinely nice and friendly. The receptionist was very helpful and the Jessica was professional and made me comfortable!! I highly recommend them for any service. read more

Yay for someone like Jessica who understands that taking care of one's self shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I am so happy to find a local business by a native Austinite that provides quality services. I'm also happy to see how Jessica's business is blossoming. The atmosphere of the new studio is very relaxing and "authentic Austin." Jessica is down to earth and knowledgeable but not pushy. read more

I loved my first facial here and already set up an appointment for another. Jessica is amazing at her job. She takes great care to get to know your skin and she is just so calm and relaxing in her demeanor. She explains what she is doing as she does it (love that) and is very focused on using natural products. Beautiful space and in a great location for us East-side dwellers. I'm hooked! read more

I had a customized facial done with Alicia. Totally loved it. I went online and set the appointment, super easy. When I walked in I was greeted by a nice lady on the front desk and sat down for about 5 minutes before Alicia came to get me. She then took me into the room and we talked about my face and what I thought was wrong. Then we started the procedure. Alicia was super nice and very informative. She went step by step about what she was doing. I totally enjoyed my facial. I am not sure how she received a bad review I think Alicia did a great job. The only thing that was kind of weird was when she cleansed my face she did not take my leftover eye make up and after the facial I had dark circles around my eyes which was leftover mascara. Alittle odd but okay. Overall great experience and will return next year. read more

The staff at Esty is so helpful. They are on time and use clean ingredients. It's so nice to step into their amazing space and immediately feel more calm without having to worry about what's being put on your skin. It's the perfect way to treat yourself and glow more at the same time! Thanks Ella for taking care of me for years! read more

I meant to write about my 4th visit to Shelia, but my 5th visit was even better! Book with Sheila she's awesome. She is so good at eyebrows, but her facials are the best! All the smells of the mixes she makes are so cool and yummy, and when she touches your face you know she is not missing any spots, she's very throughout. She also is a great reader of skin and if she notices something she will adjust, for example I didn't say anything but Sheila noticed my under eyes needed attention and they got it. I'm adding her to my "must dos in Austin" list for my Airbnb guests. read more

I found Esty and Jessica by purchasing a Groupon for chemical peels. I have now had 2 peels and one facial from Jessica and I plan to return every two weeks for a mini facial. Her prices are amazing, she is very informative about everything she is doing. I felt like home walking into there for the first time. I have had treatments at some 5 stars resorts and don't come out with the same feelings that I do when I leave Esty. I plan to get all my treatments done from her for now on. I read the reviews for her waxing and I can't wait to see her again soon. read more

I followed Elisha Tomberlin to Esty from another day spa here in Austin and I couldn't be happier! Etsy is conveniently located off of east 11th street, 2 blocks from I-35. The house that Esty's is located in is spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. Also, as someone who loves taking care of myself, but also saving money, Etsy is VERY reasonably priced. You really get a lot of bang for your buck here and I would strongly recommend Esty to anyone in Austin! read more

I am always searching for a really unique and iniviting salon that is clean and luxurious. ETSY is my new favorite place and I am excited to keep going back not only for eyebrows but for waxing too. I had such a great first experience that was easy, friendly and comfortable. Elisha did such a great job on my brows and went over how my shape needed to be and didnt overdue it my first time in because she knew that they needed to grow out a little more. Not to mention, the atmosphere, which is so well done and exemplifies everything I love about an Austin Salon. I am glad I found ETSY online by randomly googling and trying to discover a new place in town. . . . Plus Waller street is such a neat street in town that ETSY fits right in. Thank you ladies for such a great experience and I look forward to coming back often. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Brittany Cantu! I just moved to Austin from New York and was nervous to try someone new, but Brittany made it so easy and comfortable. I got a brazillian and I give her an A++! She's very experienced and quick. The treatment room was HUGE! As an added bonus, Brittany was available for a last minute appointment. Go to Esty! read more

I thought Alicia did a great job. My skin felt wonderful afterward and I was very relaxed. She was informative and told me what she was doing every step of the way. I would go back again for sure! read more

This was my first time visiting Esty Skin Studio, and it was a fantastic experience! I am not a facial regular and really wanted to get in to a routine. I scheduled a 45-minute customized facial with Jessica. Once I arrived, she was ready and waiting for me, had me fill out a short form to mention my skin care goals, and then let me prepare for the session. My routine is fairly simple, and I mentioned that I wanted to keep it that way (this seemed to be right in line with Esty's goals for their clients' skin care, so score!). The session itself was so relaxing, and Jessica was really great at telling me what she was mixing up to exfoliate and re-hydrate my skin. I love the natural, clean ingredients used, and Jessica really knows her stuff. After she was done, my skin looked amazing--clean and bright! I am definitely going back for a 30-minute facial in a month or so. read more

Such a relaxing environment. Quiet and friendly. I highly recommend Ella for waxing. She's on top of her game and quick! I can easily book online from my phone whenever I need and its such a smooth process. read more

Saw Sheila for a 45 min customized facial and it was wonderful! She is very talented with facial massage, and made it a very relaxing and peaceful experience. She also discussed my skin concerns with me prior to starting. Be aware that they do use oil on your face which might not be what everyone is looking for based on how your skin reacts. For me, it was fine and did not cause me to break out at all. Thanks for an amazing experience, I will definitely be returning! read more

Such an amazing experience. The 45 minute custom facial is going to be my new monthly facial. Super relaxing studio with really good vibes. 10/10 read more

Two thumbs way up! It's a cute little spa nestled in Austin's über cool Eastside. Need a Brazilian? Jessica is your girl! She's fast and really nice. For added bonus points, the dimly lit room with soft bossa nova music in the background is very relaxing. Never going anywhere else! read more

Lovely place, beautiful decorations and comfortable rooms for a relaxing experience. I got a facial with Ella and loved it. I will be back.

I sincerely enjoyed my first experience at Esty. Brittany gave me my first set of eyelast extensions in less than one hours time. Esty is a quaint although ATX trendy spa located in a historic landmark with a welcoming front porch surrounded by a rose garden and a picket fence. I have been to 5 star spas in TX, CA, AZ, MA, VA, NYC, and HI and I can honestly say that Brittany Cantu at Esty is one of the very best estheticians I have ever known. I drive from Bee Cave (suburb of Austin) to Waller St. which takes me about 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic because I want the best in lash extensions and skin care. To me, it's worth it. Brittany is on top of the best in skin care and is passionate about researching the most natural yet beneficial ways to nurture skin and improve overall health and appearance of skin. I get compliments on my lashes every single day (and I'm not exaggerating) because they look so real and so perfect. I'm a personal trainer, a runner, and very active so I sweat a ton, especially in the Austin heat. I rarely ever wear makeup and don't even own any mascara anymore so I never have to worry about black smears under my eyes. I get a lash fill from Brittany about every 3 weeks and it has truly simplified my life. Esty offers many other services that I have not had the opportunity to try yet but word around town is that Esty is what's up in Austin. The staff is tops with booking and appointment reminders by e-mail, which I find most helpful. Jessica (owner & creator of Esty) is both beautiful & friendly and she get's it. read more

I came to this spa based on the positive Yelp reviews, and discovered the rave reviews are well deserved! Ella gave me a brow wax and my left my brows beautiful, clean, symmetrical, and natural looking. She did a great job, was quick, and there was very little pain. The spa itself has a wonderful ambiance and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I look forward to trying some of their other services! read more

I'm about to go for my second facial and third waxing with Ella tomorrow, and I'm so psyched! I discovered Esty initially when my attempts to make a last minute appointment with another salon in town (with multiple locations) that specializes in waxing couldn't fit me in. Even though they didn't have anything that day either, they told me about the late-day appointments that they have, and I snatched one up! (I work about an hour away from downtown so I'm usually too late to get any weekday appointment anywhere). I had no idea that Esty even existed before then, and it was a pleasant surprise to "discover" it. Not stuffy, not hipster, not rushed (I hate that), finding this place just let me breathe a sigh of relief. And Ella is very cool, very nice, and gives such a relaxing facial. They also have a great loyalty program that I'm going to definitely take advantage of this time. I'm looking forward to exploring more of what they have to offer. read more
