Raised a Texas boy, I know a thing or two about animals that moo or say naaaaaa and how tasty they can be. My experiences say Argentina slightly edges out the Lone Star State on this one. Now before you start fussing at me, let me tell you why. Estilo Campo is a perfect example of a classy Argentina churrasco that adds a special touch to its meat. Me and the wifey threw down the food challenge with the medium rare 26oz Tomahawk Ribeye and the cabrito cooked on the spit. Added the spinach al gratin for the side and a salad with avocados for an appetizer. Finish the night with one of the best flans I've ever had and you have a meal fit for even the pickiest gauchos. One word, Perfecto! The ranch like inside adds to the experience, but putting you out on the trails while you dine. There is a wine cellar downstairs, too, and offers many choices. Overall, the ambiance is relaxed, but classy. Latin American countries are known for their great service and this place is no exception. They don't speak much English here, but the menu is in both Spanish and English, so ordering is a snap. Take my advice and order the higher end beef cuts and you will thank me later. My mom recommended this restaurant for us to dine for dinner, so we went! We didn't have a reservation but we were able to be seated. Argentina is known for steak and they had several options. If you don't eat red meat, there are some options for you. I saw chicken, fish, and pork on the menu as well. To start they served us complimentary bread and a small charcuterie plate. My mom ordered the ribeye. I did the short rib. We ordered cream spinach and rustic potatoes as our sides. We did the house red which was a deliciously smooth Malbec. I ordered the tiramisu as takeaway. I enjoyed the meal. I'm not a huge steak eater but when in Argentina, I'll eat the steak and drink all the wine! Our server was amazing! He was very upbeat and knowledgeable. My Spanish is ok, my mom only knows pleasantries but we were able to order with no issues. Restaurant was huge! White table cloths and brightly lit. Came here for a large family gathering on our last night when we happened to be in BA. I got the recommendation from another relative, who had highly recommended it herself. I made a reservation for our party of 12 via Whatsapp, which was very easy to do and they were very responsive as well. The restaurant is quite large and it seems like it can easily accommodate multiple large parties, if need be, so that's a nice plus if you happen to have a large group. The menu has all your standard Argentine grilled meats and accoutrements, but I was also happy to see that they had a number of suitable items for a vegetarian, such as myself. I opted for their mozzarella milanesa to start and then I got a pasta dish for my main. The rest of my party shared numerous cuts of beef and ordered a few a la carte items as well. Because of the ongoing hyper-inflation, our meal for 12 people ended up being extremely affordable. Estilo Campo Restaurante is an Argentinian steak restaurant located in the Puerto Madero section of beautiful Buenos Aires, Argentina. I chose this restaurant because of its numerous high ratings on several review sites. We arrived at 8:30pm for our reservation at an empty restaurant. Apparently the locals don't eat until later in the evening and sure enough by the time we left, around 10:30pm, the restaurant was pretty packed. We began with some cocktails while we waited for our appetizers. The cheese, meat and veggie plate came out first with a delicious dip in the center. It came with a generous basket of various types of bread. The second course of appetizers came out starting with the gambas, aka shrimp. They were sauteed in a garlic tomato sauce and were tasty. The star appetizer was surprisingly the fried provolone cheese. It was absolutely delicious. I would go back just for that! For my main, I ordered the tomahawk ribeye steak. It was about $30. It was huge but manageable and was cooked perfectly to my taste, medium rare. I asked for sauteed onions, which was not on the menu, but they made me some very nice grilled sliced onions, which did the job. Extra points for not saying NO and being creative. Gustave, our server was super helpful and friendly, guiding us along the way with our menu choices. He even lit my sambuca on fire after he poured it for a little extra flair! The food was extremely well priced. We did have two bottles of local Malbec which contributed to about half the price of the bill ($160 of $320 total bill for 3). Had we not ordered wine and cocktails, dinner for the 3 of us would have been just over $100. Where can you get an amazing steak and meal for about $100 for 3 people? Overall, it was a very nice meal and experience. I will definitely go back again next time I am in town. read more

I typically love this place & have been here multiple times, but tonight it was a complete failure. The staffing exceptional here & I don't mind spending a little more for a meal that is wonderful but tonight was a different story. For a steakhouse to not know how to cook steak is just ridiculous & sub par. I ordered a tomahawk steak cooked jugoso but was it came out cooked medium. They apologized and cooked another one and served it blue. Rare. I gave up and decided just to take it home and finish cooking it myself. I'll try this place another time,maybe mine was just cooked by a new guy. read more

This is a restaurant for meat eaters. Every meat eater in our group really enjoyed their their meals but the vegetarians not so much. Bread and accompanying sauces/spread are good. Grilled vegetables are divine. Ice cream is delicious. But to my fellow vegetarians out there - do yourself a favor and don't order the risotto or pasta. There seemed to be something very wrong with the risotto and the pasta was just overall very bland and boring. read more

Very pricy as you sit on the water of puerto madero. Not entirely worth it as there are so many other good patillas in the city but when in puerto madero it is a good choice. Lovely service. High table fee but the bread and accompaniments are worth it. Nice steaks and good sides. Just be aware it will cost you. Lovely atmosphere on a nice day read more
