I never write reviews but I feel like I need to for Renee. I have been seeing Renee for waxing for a little over a year and she is AMAZING - super professional, cozy space, quick, and reasonably priced...but this review is for her facials. Earlier this month I bit the bullet and made an appointment for a customized facial with her. Let me provide some back story by saying I was seeing a dermatologist for my adult acne and scarring for the past year...after lots of medications and creams - no progress. Enter Renee and her facial - it has been about 3 and a half weeks now and my skin has never been better! The acne has subsided and my skin actually looks healthier. I no longer feel like I need to slather on the concealer to hide scarring and unsightly marks. She has changed my skincare regimen from a drawer-full of products that were leaving my skin dry and uncomfortable to a simple face wash and moisturizer that has left my skin balanced and visibly healthier. I agree with Lauren's comment; Renee is indeed "The Brow Queen." I've been a customer of Renee's for 7+ years and have received various treatments related to skin/brow care--all have been excellent. She is consummately professional, genuinely caring, and talented at what she does. I appreciate her respect for one's budget; she never pushes services but instead encourages a client to have the facts and/or compare other products before making a decision. Renee is simply the best! Not only is she flexible to set up appointments (and has a great app that sends text reminders) when I reach out last minute, but her services are top notch as well. I have followed Renee for years because she is THAT good. I have had people tell me numerous times how great my eyebrows look (of all things!) and that's only after Renee had worked her magic on these bushy caterpillars! Loved my first eyebrow wax with Renee! She was incredibly professional, took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, and did a great job working with my thick brows. She even took time after the wax to show me how she filled my brows in and what products she recommends. The studio is clean and inviting and overall I had a fantastic experience. Renee is amazing at understanding the art of brows. I have thick unruly Italian brows that most people can't tame OR end up making too thin. She asked questions to understand what I wanted and was able to shape them beautifully to compliment my face/eye shape. Her prices are very reasonable for the services she provides.
