I had gone on a day trip with my aunt who was visiting from out of state when my car began having issues near Estes, looked up a number of local shops in the area and stumbled upon some great reviews regarding similar situations for Mountain Imports. I called and explained the noise, the gentleman on the phone advised me to come into the shop for a free inspection. Within 30 minutes they had found and resolved the issue. They were very kind, caring, and quick to fix the problem with my vehicle without ever feeling like I was being taken advantage of. I HIGHLY recommend this shop, they clearly know what they are doing and value their customers. Thank you so very much for the fix as well as the piece of mind!

So far both the new CV joints they replaced have had to be replaced, I am now having to replace the rear struts because either the strut or the installation was faulty. I will not return to Stonum Automotive to fulfill the warranty because I no longer trust their competency or their honesty. Several things make me wonder about their competency and/or honesty as when I decided to have another mechanic look at the car, one that has very high ratings, they found some questionable conditions in my car. One of these was a belt for the alternator- excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge, that was the wrong size. It was too small and near breaking. Was this incompetency or more? I don't know. But no matter what I will never go to Stonum automotive again. If I could give them a negative review I would. So far, I am having to pay another $2000 + to fix their incompetency. I had used Stonum for several years and feel my trust was totally betrayed. If I could give a negative review I'd give them a -10.

I drove into town looking for an auto shop to check if it was safe to drive back to Boulder, and Up Top was the first place I saw--so I pulled in. The owner could not have been kinder. He immediately stopped what he was doing, took the time to look under the car and the hood, and quickly figured out the issue (an O-ring that wasn't sealing properly). I was so appreciative of how willing he was to help on the spot. He even mentioned that some of his customers drive all the way from Colorado Springs to have their cars serviced here--which says a lot! If you're in Estes and need an honest, helpful mechanic, Up Top is absolutely the place to go.
