First of all, shipment is a week late. Secondly, they left me a voicemail saying the package is going to be here between 6:30 and 10:30, then a text saying it's going to be 12:30 to 4:30. Which one is it? It sounds like all this company does is apologize for their incompetence on reviews. ETA: so after giving me yet another delivery window yesterday, the put the icing on the cake by attempting delivery outside of ANY of the delivery windows and then telling me their delivery window is actually 8:00-12:00. Worst experience with a transportation company my fright was damaged and destroyed in between shipment. Poor customer service to try and file a claim was a email run around. It really made me look bad with my customer I was trying to ship my fright to. The poor handling of my fright I would never use this company again. Not to mention the beat up looking trailer that they were using to pick up my fright had metal wall panels bent and could puncture holes in pallets being loaded. I've been here several times to pick up orders and the one guy that works in the back at the dock for pick up seems to always have a chip on his shoulder and acts like he doesn't wanna be there. In the past he's purposely had me go go across the terminal to speak to somebody else and I end up coming back to his office and the guy I was supposed to go speak to is sitting right behind him in a chair. Yelp needs to add a half star for companies like this. If a driver cannot use a map, or go by physical address, you are out of luck on your delivery. When you make a call to them is when you find out the driver is directionally challenged and cannot find an address. Very common for a load to sit at your local terminal for a week or more. The big kicker is customer service is just as lost and starts off rude and impatient. Might have been because I called at 8am (maybe close to a break?). Second time the company we ordered form used this carrier. Waited all day, and tracking said "2nd stop out" 8 hours later, still 2nd stop out. No one can tell me where this shipment is. FORTUNATELY, took day off, and am turning this over to my lawyer for loss of wages and delays. Am also reaching out to others whom were in the same situation, and will add them to the action. We ALL work, we ALL rely on paychecks to pay bills. These types of companies, don't care about customer service OR delivery on time. Their "Time sensitive delivery guarantee" is just that, bull shit. I suggest ANYONE who orders anything makes sure this is NOT that carrier, OR you put a severe penalty clause in your order like "late deliveries without confirmation will be subject to a minimum penalty of $1000.00 and not to exceed $10,000 DAILY. read more

Wow! Great experience in their yard. Very helpful & nice employees. They were quick to find our item in the yard. Finding lost items... Now the frustrating part of the story. Because they were supposed to deliver the item last Friday & called during delivery time & said they didn't have a lift gate & needed to deliver another day. Disappointed we took time off work. So, we rescheduled for Monday. During that delivery time, they called and said an administrative mistake had routed it to Las Vegas! I couldn't take more time off & had to pick up ourselves the following weekend. Now - we get to fill out a claim form, to request a refund on delivery charges. I'm hoping it's not a hassle. The only reason I gave a one star to Estes is because you have to click a star. But in reality it is 0 stars. This is hard for me to do because I like truckers. I work with truckers and they are always very nice to me. I know at least 5 Estes truckers and they are great people. I was encouraged to write this because a trucker told me I should because he was angry after he heard my story. So this is my story. On April 4th 2023 I was on the 210 freeway at about 7:10AM going west approaching Day Creek Blvd. I was two miles away. Well I am an old man in my sixties and if you are my age or closer you will know how I feel. I suddenly had the urge to use the bathroom. As I just said if you are my age you understand we are not young anymore and it is not easy to hold it anymore. So I was in the right lane on the 210 freeway in a panic because I wanted to get to a bathroom and not leave it in my pants in my truck. I passed 5 cars and the 5th car realized I was coming and he moved over for me. I stuck my hand out of the window and thanked him. Then I came up on this Estes truck and as I was attempting to pass him he deliberately cut my off forcing me on the shoulder. Then he came on the shoulder striking my truck breaking my mirror and scratching my door handle and damaging my rim. Now I'm on the side of the freeway trying to stop and trying to keep my truck from flipping over. I finally stop and I knew this was deliberately done. That jerk just kept going. I was shaking but I managed to get my cellphone to call the police. I asked the cellphone to get the nearest highway patrol. It sent me back 4 locations All CLOSED. GREAT. So I finally am able to get my wits together and I got off the freeway and I did make it to the bathroom BARELY! and still shaking a little I called Estes corporate office. I'm mad at myself because I forgot this guys name. I was so upset I was not thinking straight. When I told him what happened and where it happened, he told me he knew who he was. I told him I had a dash cam and hopefully it captured him and I want to press charges. He told me he didn't blame me and told me to file a claim so I can get my damages fixed by Estes. I told the man I want that driver arrested for felony hit and run. But I do as I was told and I filed a claim. This dragged out for almost a month and they had some third party morons denying my claim now telling me they did not know who the driver is. I went to Best Buy so they can check my dash cam and it stopped recording two days before this incident. They were stunned because they said this dash cam should not have done that. This truck driver must have sold his soul to the devil because he was leaking through the cracks. If my dash cam is working, I have this guy by the you know what. But now oh we don't know who was there. Is Estes covering up for this guy. So I am asking please if anyone was out there and saw this and you can identify this idiot pleasse step forward. This guy committed felony hit and run and attempted vehicular man slaughter. I could have been killed if my truck flips over. I can't believe it didn't. I like truck drivers and even though I encountered this jerk it won't have any effect on my relationship with other truck drivers. They tell me idiots like this give them a bad name. This guy needs to be put in prison and never be allowed to drive a truck again. I will turn this in to the DMV and consult an attorney to notify his insurance company. I thought this guy may have been driving cross country but I found out there is an Estes company on Cherry Ave in the city of Fontana. So this moron was probably on the freeway no more the 4 miles when he did this to me. Unfortunately, when you order floors from Home Depot, they use Estes for delivery. And by delivery, I mean for screwing up everything before your products can reach their destination. I'm losing two days with my remodelers because they can't continue with the work in my place thanks to the flooring being in the Estes warehouse somewhere in Fontana. The really "funny" thing is that my flooring has been sitting there for weeks. It was supposed to be delivered in the week before Thanksgiving week. When my flooring arrived at Estes without complete delivery information (blame Home Depot for that), instead of contacting HD or finding a way to contact me -the customer- Estes just left the products to collect dust, my time and money be damned. I'm wondering how long my order would have sat there at Estes if it hadn't been for me barking at Home Depot long enough for them to lead me toward whatever shitty delivery service gave them the lowest bid. It was Estes for this order, and it's clear why they must be cheap enough to earn Home Depot's bidding: they're completely incapable of following through on resolving a minor problem in order to meet minimal expectations. So be careful, everyone. When you order from Home Depot, they use Estes. When you get your delivery done by Estes, you apparently don't get your delivery done at all. And of course you can tell that Estes doesn't care about these customer reviews. Why should they, right? I ordered a pallet of flooring from Home Depot and they shipped via this company. An email I received stated delivery was scheduled from the 11th to the 16th. It arrived at Estes on the 12th and sat there. I called on the 15th to ask when it would be delivered. I was told they only ship to HD on Tues & Thurs so it would go out the next day. On Tues afternoon I checked the tracking number and was told it was still sitting at Estes. I called and sure enough, I was told they missed it and it would be delivered on Thursday. A snow storm was expected on Thursday and this flooring is being installed in a remodel project up in Big Bear. I needed the flooring on Tuesday, but Estes said I could not pick it up from will-call. After several more phone calls between them and HD, I was able to arrange for me to go to HD, get a letter authorizing me to go to Estes and they would release the shipment to me. Yes, I will gladly be completely inconvenienced to do your job for you! I went to HD and got the letter, but it was so late in the day, I decided to pick the flooring up on Wed. I checked my email this morning (Wed) to discover they delivered my flooring today - even though I was told yesterday it wouldn't be delivered until Thursday. On the several previous occasions I've had the pleasure of speaking with these completely incompetent people, I was told they only ship to Home Depot on Tuesday and Thursday. I decided to give them a call to find out where my delivery is; First call - 8 minutes and then the phone hung up for no reason. Called back - on hold 23 minutes until I was finally able to talk to a shipping clerk. I asked the clerk where my delivery is and was told they did in fact deliver it to HD. When I asked her why I had previously been told they only ship to HD on Tues & Thurs, she said, "No, we also ship on Wed." Lies, lies, lies. Nothing but lies out of these people's mouths. I bought some reptile cages and due to the size and weight of my order, the company chose to have them shipped to me using Estes. Once I got the tracking email from Estes I came here to look at reviews and was instantly concerned by other people's reviews, and braced myself for a stressful week. I don't know if their workforce has recently changed or something else happened, but I'm very glad to say that I had a pleasant experience. The online tracking was accurate and my pallet arrived at their facility exactly the day it was expected. I received a call that same morning and a woman (didn't catch her name) set me up with a delivery date right before the thanksgiving holiday. The morning of my delivery, I got a call from the driver to confirm that I was home and ready to receive the pallet; he arrived 30 minutes later. Gilbert was professional, efficient and courteous and delivered my pallet into the garage with zero problems. The pallet was intact and everything on it in pristine condition. If I can think of anything negative out of this, it would be that the delivery was technically out of the time window we had agreed on - one hour early! But the fact that the driver called ahead of time and verified that I was able to receive the delivery, instead of just showing up early and leaving if I hadn't gotten home yet - just meant that I could start building those cages sooner rather than later. read more

Don't ever do business with this company. They have absolutely no respect for customer service. Say they will show up for a delivery and don't then say they couldn't get around to it. Then they mess up your delivery and put you off because they are booked. They are unprofessional and hire people to make the appointments that have no personality or intelligence. They are arrogant, irresponsible and absolutely have no concept if customer service. By the way I cannot comprehend why Home Depot would work a company like this.
