I had led lights installed in my ceiling by a separate contractor and Estes Acoustics came in and finished up the patch and retexture. They were fast, clean, and on time. A couple months later the texture began to crack from what was suspected to be from the other contractors work. Estes came back, repaired the area and retextured the whole ceiling at no charge. Most contractors would tell you to pound sand in those situations but Estes went the extra mile. Stephanie and the team are rock stars! My parents used them when they renovated their house and recommend them to my husband and I. Stephanie was great when it came to scheduling and recommending paint color and texture. I was concerned about pricing since we have cathedral ceilings and live in Orange County. After calling places in Orange County, Estes was the most reasonable. They came the next week and took about 1 1/2 days to remove the popcorn ceilings from almost everyone room in the house and paint. We had Estes do my father-in-laws house and it was a great job. The thing is, the house was completely empty. No furniture, nothing. So since we knew they did great, we wanted to go with them for our house. First of all, I have a picture of them working on my ceiling by standing on my new couch. I also have two pictures of the foot indentions left on my cushions. I could not believe they used my furniture to stand on vs. a ladder. Also, we called for a few weeks to make an appointment with them and they never responded. We were about to give up, and finally Stephanie reached out to us. She was really nice when she came over. I hate how my walls look now. There is a pretty big white line on the wall by the ceiling in every single room. Our whole house needs to be painted and fixed now. None of that is the worst of it. The very worst of it is they broke our main living room TV. We asked what we needed to move, and Stephanie just said the decorations everywhere. We would have moved our TV in a second if we thought it would be a problem. Looking back, we can't believe we left it there, BUT we also can't believe they didn't tell us to move it. Well, that night after they left I turned it on, and it had lines/streaks going through it. They denied it was them and would not compensate any amount towards it. It really was not the great experience we got at my father-in-laws empty house. They might be your people if your house is completely empty, but if it has any furniture in it, if your walls are painted and you realize they will break your stuff and now own up to it, they are NOT the company for you. It is incredibly disappointing to work with such a dishonest company and frankly, very unprofessional. Is it the norm now to stand on furniture when you hire someone? I hope not! The workmanship was excellent, their attention to detail was perfection and the cost estimate was very reasonable. My furniture was moved and the rooms were sealed in plastic. When the job was complete the plastic was removed, the floors were swept and vacuumed, and the furnishings were replaced. I'm not one to write a review on a company that comes comes in and just does the job I hired them to do, however this company goes above and beyond! Stephanie gave me a reasonable quote for work done on Monday, March 10 and Friday, June 27 of this year. Mike and crew showed up on Monday, March 10 to restore a damaged wall from a flood and repair drywall to another wall and ceiling. They did an excellent job especially since the scope of the work changed that day as other workers were working on projects related to this the same day and in the same space. They completed the work as needed and desired without additional cost. I hired them again to remove popcorn from my garage ceiling Friday, June 27. The ceilings looked fine, but they ruined the paint at the top. They said it was on the contract regarding that the walls may be affected. But I didn't think in EVERY room! I would think it would me minimal. When I asked the worker, the owner's son, about it he was very defensive and rude. They messed up on the living room ceiling so they had to come back to finish it up. Again he was sarcastic and rude to me, their CUSTOMER! I didn't want to argue with him anymore and told him to just finish the job. He actually bought touch up paint the next day for the living room, because it looked so bad. He didn't know my daughter was in one of the rooms when they came back and she heard him making comments that were not very professional. Our ceilings look great - thanks to Estes Acoustics. We have lived with popcorn ceilings for over 30 years - and couldn't be happier to be rid of them. We assumed it would be very expensive and messy, and we worried about asbestos. The Estes team came in and within two days they were finished with the whole house - for an astonishingly good price and little to no mess. They replaced old lights with cone lights and were happy to add some more lights in our kitchen, even though it was added work. One ceiling fan wasn't quite right and they came back right away to fix it. They were polite and prompt, with an amazing work ethic. Our painter recommended them to us, and he was right.
