Great cheese curds! Me thinks the sauce is a garlic ranch.

Cool place! Estelle's has been on my Yet List for more than a decade. We went for happy hour last Sun (1/5) about 5p. There was one other patron; two more arrived a little later. It reminded me of "After Hours" (when Paul gets to the bar)- too early and a work night to be crowded. We'll go back on a Fri or Sat. It has that cool old feeling like Simon's.

The short and sweet of it...we stopped in to get something to eat before heading to Subterranean for their 70s Disco night DJ set. We walked into the bar and were immediately hit with very loud music. There wasn't a lot of available space to sit so The Doctor, Queen and I went to a table top for four in the window. It was clear some people had been sitting there, but the table had not been cleared. The Doctor moved everything over to the table next to us and we sat down. A bartender eventually came over to remove the empty glasses from the table next to us and cleaned it. Looked over at us, said he would clean the table but it would leave the table wet, so he just walked off. We looked at each other and decided that we did not want to order anything. Fortunately we saw Cafe Robey, which was a lovely find and ate there. Just didn't feel the vibe there. Maybe the food is good, I don't know. But I am a big fan of talking and while I love music, I don't want it so loud that I to yell to have a conversation.

We went on a Friday evening during their happy hour. Half priced drinks was a great deal. We had a few canned drinks and two house cocktails - they were good, but nothing out of this world. The ambiance is dark and moody. At around 5:30 all the tables were taken except the one we were at. It was a little difficult to find the restrooms. Overall would come back and recommend for an affordable happy hour.

Estelle is a local neighborhood dive bar. I ordered a BYO-Burger- this just means I created my own burger. It was amazing my only critique would be that it was a little bit over seasoned, but who cares anyway it's a dive bar lol The drinks were amazing and kind of crafty if you ask me. The service was surprisingly good if you ask me. I do think that the music was a little too loud for me but I still did enjoy the place.

Had a great experience Sunday at Estelle's. Grace, Ashlee and Nate were all amazing. Music was on point. Highly recommend the nuggets if you're hungry.

I don't want to gatekeep but this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE LATE NIGHT bar to frequent. Like it closes at like 4am and food is still served pretty late. It's not like a super masculine dive bar, it's for the girlies & movie buffs since they always have really interesting movies playing (like Perfect Blue or LOTR). Plus the bartenders are always so sweet and respectful and check in with you. The jalapeño poppers are my fave and the havarti burger always hits the spot after clubbing.

Eventually, he did. Took 15 minutes to get water while sitting at the bar. We get it--you're slammed for the games. After 30 minutes, we asked about our food and got "I don't know." Asked another server, "Excuse me, can you check where our food is?" She whipped her head around and snapped, "I don't know." Asked someone else: "We're slammed, I don't know." Apparently asking someone to actually check was too much. My boyfriend finally poked his head into the kitchen, where the chef was perfectly nice and confirmed our food was there. Then all hell broke loose. A female server started claiming we were rude for asking about our food. One bartender appeared to be holding another back, and that guy proceeded to make "na-na-boo-boo" faces and noises at us like a five-year-old until another bartender told him to walk away. You cannot make this up. We could've left, but admittedly, we wanted those damn burgers. What we didn't order was a grown man throwing a tantrum. Not one, not two, but three employees with an attitude over a basic food update. Being busy is understandable. Treating customers like shit isn't. Shout-out to our main bartender for trying to calm everyone down. The rest need to learn some manners. Left shocked that this is apparently how they handle a Saturday game day.

The minotaur is a thin tavern style pizza topped with garlic sauce, italian beef, giardiniera, peppers, and provolone. There was a nice very subtle heat, but the perfectly garlicky crust is what really made me enjoy it! If you love garlic this is a menu gem for you. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. The bartender invited us to sit where we felt comfortable and walked us through the tap offerings. I LOVE a sour beers, and the offerings are limited in that department, otherwise I'd give this spot a full 5 stars. Ambiance feels like hanging out in your favorite goth friend's basement in all of the best ways. A nice low key spot to watch the game, participate in trivia night, or grab a slice on the way home.

We got mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings and a large inferno pizza. The mozzarella sticks were absolutely fantastic! The cheese pull was incredible, flavor was good and they were nicely crispy on the outside. The Buffalo wing sauce was very good, but the wings themselves were a bit overcooked and chewy. The pizza was very tasty with a lot of great ingredients, but was low on the cheese and flavor. We thought it would be spicy, but it wasn't even a little. We were a bit disappointed on that front. Also the ranch with the wings was very sub par, didn't taste homemade and if it was, it just wasn't great.

Made us feel uncomfortable, so we left. Fast forward to a couple nights ago . We were in the area and gave it another chance. Couldn't help to notice that all hip hop, rap, Latin music are completely blocked off. Politely asked the bartender what was up with that? He seemed very uncomfortable with my question and gave us a very sarcastic response. "Well, I guess that's a racist juke box." We immediately felt the bad energy. We proceed to finish our beers and play a jazz song by a black female singer. Immediately the bartender and some older biker looking dudes next to us start talking smack about the song. They asked if we put the song on? We said yes, and tell us to read the room. So I respond in a very sarcastic tone. "oh, you want us to read the room, would you like us to play some Toby Keith or Kid rock for you?" They smirked and had no response. I strongly believe the place is owned and operated by white supremacist maga brothren's. I would strongly encourage people In the neighborhood to stop supporting this business.
