House went for $175k less than what a realtor could have gotten within 5 days on the market guaranteed by the realtor. Pickup trucks with plows went for 1/2 of WHOLESALERS price. equipment, guns, and all high dollar items fractions of value. 1/3 of the household goods never even made it to the auction. high dollar items were still there. He literally was selling shit for the last 4 hours to 3 people. Bidding a dollar for expensive items. Then his employees started gathering stuff up. And yes. They bought shit for a dollar. Brzosteck is a crook. Looking to make as much money for himself as possible so he can retire. Do yourself a favor sell your stuff yourself.

At one point, a women he obviously knew was fanning herself and he was disturbed by it. The interaction between the two of them was very uncomfortable to witness. His forbidding her to use the fan and her continuing to do so to the point he approached her and attempted to take the fan. Additionally, it was very difficult to see the current item up for bid as the staff stood in one spot with the items held at their mid section. With so many people seated in front of you, even bobbing and weaving your head, you could rarely see the item. He often barked orders at his staff, again a behavior that was uncomfortable to witness. Not sure I'd sit through another 6 hours of his auction.

As for the fees, the State Sales Tax goes to the State, not Hessney. The buyers premium is indeed a rip off (since Hessney likely charges the SELLER a fee as well), but it is clearly stated at the beginning of every single auction and on his web site. The saddest thing is that buyer's premium does not buy you any guarantees. I think if you are being told that an item is in a certain condition, then it turns out that it does not work the buyer's premium should allow you to bring the item back for a refund of the bid price. The buyer's premium should be an insurance policy, not an extra 10% fee for Hessney. I would waive insurance if I could waive the fee. But to waive any insurance and still pay a fee above an beyond your bid price is just thievery.

They sent me damaged and missing items from lots that I've won. Instead of stepping in and reaching out to the shipper or even USPS they, made me do it with no info at all. They didnt even send me a shipping invoice on the shipping company and they expected me to call and give USPS all that info. I tried calling which they do not pick up my calls, they do not reply to emails, only have resorted through texting which they have been of no help. Their excuse was "My wife works at USPS, you can file". What a load of BS. These people are scum! I will be reporting them to the BBB and will also upload texts and emails from these people so you can see how unprofessional they are. Extremely frustrated with these people. Please stay away!
