On our most recent trip to Madrid, we were closest to Sevilla. The metro stop is very close to Sol, but services different lines, so it depends where you're headed! Often, going through Sol is more convenient because it services three different lines and goes in various directions more directly. read more
Sevilla is one of the busier stations on the Madrid metro and is, for a pleasant change, handicap-accessible. This after major renovations earlier in 2019 that added the accessibility features. There are elevators from the platform level to the ticketing concourse and to the street level.
The station serves Line 2 and is between Banco de España (toward Las Rosas) and Sol (toward Cuatro Caminos).
The platforms are a little narrow so please watch your step.
