My mom and I did their 4:00 PM E-bike tour this past week. It was a great experience and our guide was excellent! I would recommend doing this tour on your first day/afternoon in Madrid so you can get acclimated to the city and see some of the main sites. Our guide, Fran, was knowledgeable, personable, and animated. The background he provided at each of the sites was interesting and helped us learn more about Madrid and Spanish history. He also had great tips and recommendations for where to go in Madrid. The tour was about 10-15 people I'd say. It was a good size to command enough attention to safely drive on the road in a lane but have everyone stay together. They provided a water bottle, helmet, bike. Fran even took us to a special "surprise stop" at the end (churros!). With the E-bike, you could adjust the assistance and you still pedaled to make the assist go, but it was a good choice to have some assist as there are hills and you don't want to worry about having to keep up on going when you're driving in a lane on the road. Best way to spend 2 hours at Parque De El Retiro. The park is rather large but flat so exploring by bike is not only fun but makes for a fun way to see the park. Rental was quick and easy, you have to leave your ID and 2 hours was about $7.50 euros per person. We easily explored the parque in 1 hour with time for photos and admiring the beauty it offers. Great experience. Alfonso was our guide for the "Madrid at Night Bike Guided Tour." To say anything other than what an exceptional experience would be doing a disservice. From the vary moment we started, Alfonso was professional, friendly, engaging, and allowed the tour to go at a pace that was inclusive and comprehensive. Perfect way to explore the nearby Parque de El Retiro. Bike was in good condition and staff was very friendly.

A very friendly person helped get us quickly on our way, literally in about 3 minutes with none of the untrusting hassle found in other places; No deposits, no questions, "just leave me some identification and pay me when you return depending on how long you have the bikes" This is the only way to see Spain's Rieto park, their largest park said to be 6 times the size of Central Park in NYC. The hybrid bikes were perfect for the ride and when we returned 31/2 hours later he rounded our time DOWN to 3 hours before charging us. Doesn't hurt that the guy who runs this small shop was very friendly. read more

Rented a bike from this spot close to Parque del Retiro because I didn't want to bike through the busy city streets. As soon as we walked in on a Sunday around noon we were helped. The process to check out the bike was quick and easy. You don't have to worry about payment until you return the bike so you won't feel rushed to return it by a certain time. They offer great prices by the hour, day or week. The condition of the bike was great. A bit heavy for me but then again I haven't been on a bike in years so I must've forgotten what it was like. Returning the bike was just as easy as checking it out. I only had the bike for 2 hours and paid 6€. Not a bad deal. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I rented a Bike twice here. The place was recommanded by our hotel while easier than the citybike and better bargain when you want to rent for a longer period. Nikes are ok quality and super friendly service. They also organise guided tours but we went on our own with a map which was also fine ( if you have been to Madrid before and are used to biking) read more

Visiting family in Madrid over the Christmas Holidays, after the first 4 days we are challenged to entertain our younger family members of visiting Americans and native Spaniards. We had a mixed age group of 12, ranging from 13 to 55. This is a thing to do with a mixed group (besides the museums, landmarks, etc.) and this is the business to rent the bikes. Super helpful, simple and convenient without spending a fortune. Everyone enjoyed walking the bikes over to the Retiro and spending a couple hours exploring every pathway, walkway, etc. in the park. read more

We were recently in Madrid with our 6 year old son for vacation and Rent & Roll was around the corner from the hotel. Very friendly and reasonable. Great equipment and were very kind to cut us extended usage deals. They rented our son a scooter for overnight so we could go to the park. We returned it the next day and rented bikes for a good portion of the day. We also rented a scooter for 24 hours after that. We also rented bikes in San Sebastian and found the rates much higher, the people not as friendly or reasonable. read more

Loved this tour. We have done a similar one in Paris but this one hands down was so much better. Nico our guide was so friendly, informative and so much more fun to hang out with for three hours. He showed us so much more about Madrid then any guide book or hop on/ hop off bus tour could ever do. Easy biking riding with lots of stops for pictures. The price is reasonable and our group was only with one other couple. So it felt like we were on a private tour. When we make it back to Madrid. We will do this bike tour again. read more
