I had sustained an injury from working out, and was recommended by a friend to go to David. While…read moreit is not close to me, I have family in the area so decided to make an appointment on the way to a visit one day. David took the time to explain to me what he would do, as well as take the time to have me go through various movements to test mobility. If you're expecting a typical "chain" massage place, rest assured that this is 100x better and more individualized. He used different release movements so that my mobility was restored in my shoulder and lower back and even added in a bit of Reiki at the end, which I had never had before. His approach was different than any massage I've ever had, but also the most effective. I walked out and felt like I could move in a way that I hadn't been able to in a week and a half since sustaining my injury. It was a natural high. I would definitely make it a point to stop by for another massage in the future, and found it well worth the drive. Now I have to make an excuse to see my family more just to get a massage!

I had a massage by David and a facial by Monica at Golden Hands while visiting family and friends…read morein NY last week. David's massage was deep and effective (I'm a physical therapist and have a pet peeve about just being rubbed without it causing any actual change). I have been dealing with a cervical disc injury with symptoms down my arm as well as a forearm strain and he was able to work with both, increasing my comfort level while traveling that week significantly. It was also just deeply relaxing and wonderful. Monica quickly diagnosed my skin problem as over-drying (which is counter-intuitive when you're having a break out) due to a different skin care regimen I'd been on lately. She did extractions where I really wanted to see my skin look lighter and cleaner but didn't go crazy with it so my skin was left calm and smooth. The products she uses really helped re-balance my skin and restore that missing moisture.

It has very warm, charming and relaxing atmosphere, the staff are very professional and warm, and are able to deliver one of the best massages I've ever had. Additionally, I had a problem with my right lower calf. It would hurt, on and off for no reason. I told my therapist about this, the technique she used to relax my muscles was superb! I have not had the problem since! So I highly recommend them, and when it comes to the funny aches and pains, they may have the solution for you. Price is moderate, but well worth it, and there's always no rush w/ their services.

After purchasing a $39 Groupon, I went to Manual on Myo for a Signature Massage. After filling out…read morea short form, I was led to a "room" where my massage would take place. I use the word room in quotations because it was created with curtain dividers. In addition, there was a long mirror against the wall, almost like one you would see in a dance studio. This also, made me a little uneasy. Now, because the rooms are separated only by curtains, you can hear discussions at the front desk and in other massage rooms which can be a little disruptive. Aside from this, the massage itself was fantastic! My massage therapist used Swedish massage techniques and included hot stones and a hot pack. The massage was so good, I purchased a package of 10 massages. I do recommend this place if you can turn a blind eye to the other stuff...

I was able to purchase an Amazon Local for a one-hour massage from this provider. When I called to…read moreschedule, I was told that I would have to pay an additional "$8 transaction fee." I asked what transaction they were talking about, and how it added to $8; the person on the phone was unable to answer. She just said "Our boss told us to say that." I stated that I was reading the entire Amazon Local ad; there was NO MENTION of such a fee. The person on the phone insisted that I would have to pay it. I canceled the massage and made a formal complaint to Amazon Local, where a customer service agent agreed that she had never heard of such a thing and that they would be launching an investigation. I guess they've made a few extra bucks this way from people who don't know any better, but one has to wonder; is it worth the negative review or the investigation?

A friend of mine suggested I see Francisco, I agreed hoping to get some temporary relief. Francisco's treatment was amazing, above any massage I've had in the past. He was able to pinpoint the tight muscles that were giving me all the pain, and in just a few treatments my hip pain was gone. If you have a sport or muscle injury don't waste weeks and months like I did at one of those pointless physical therapy clinics where you're handed off to a different therapist every week. Instead, go see Francisco at Supreme Massage where he cares, takes time, and always has a plan to make you feel better.
