My Mac is my lifeline, so I needed to get it fixed as soon as possible. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to request quotes from multiple repair shops. Alex responded to my request on a Thursday evening, which I really appreciated. I received one other quote, but this shop was closer and significantly more affordable at $350 instead of $600. The next day, I spoke with Ahmad and paid in advance so they could order the replacement part. They informed me that it would arrive sometime between Monday and Wednesday. Later, they even called me back to confirm that I wanted a Grade A screen, explaining that while it wasn't completely brand new, it was still covered by a one-year warranty. If I preferred a brand-new screen, it would cost an additional $50. I asked Ahmad for his honest opinion on which option was best for me, and he recommended the Grade A screen over the new one. I trusted his advice and went with that option. I dropped off my Mac on Wednesday at 9 AM, and by 11:30 AM, I received a call saying it was ready for pickup. Ahmad made the entire process as smooth and painless as possible, and I can't express how much I appreciated that. I highly recommend this place!

    Man I love coming here!! Said no one ever. After my WD external crashed and I had tried many, many,…read moremany "online thread" alternatives, I had to just suck it up and roll with it. I only called two places in the Charlotte area. I think both gave honest quotes upfront, knew it wasn't going to be good. Although both were comparable, I generally had a better feeling from speaking with Marlon from Rewave. Seemed like a legitimate guy, and I can still stand by that. I will say the cost post evaluation differed DRASTICALLY from what was quoted and at first I was not happy. I mean what people charge for this work can be pretty outrageous. Yeah I know you have a clean room and your special anti-static tools, but really? THAT much? Being straight with the guy I told him there was no way I could afford that and that it wasn't worth restoring for that kind of money. Luckily, he was sympathetic to the situation and worked with me a bit to get the cost down. On the tail end, he had the drive ready when promised, all files and folders restored on a new SEAGATE drive, which I purchased through them at a reasonable price. No offense Marlon, but I hope I never see you again sir!

She confirmed they were not super busy and could get to it. I get to the office and there are no forms to fill out. I was expected to just leave my drive with the receptionist with no documentation or receipt of drop off or anything. I asked for at least a sticky note to leave my information on the actual drive. I should have turned and ran away at this moment. Andrea told me 24-48 hours for their evaluation and estimate to repair. I had to call several times and leave several messages to get a response. On Thursday late afternoon, I finally received an email with the estimate. I am a sole proprietor and it was completely out of my range for repair. I immediately replied to the email to see if they could work with me but again, no response. I decided to contact them to let them know that I would pick my drive up on Friday. I emailed and left messages and texted...no response. I get to the office Friday afternoon and there's no drive. The receptionist gets in touch with them and the owner calls back to tell me they are out of the office and to give me 3 options to get my drive back - (1) wait until Monday and return to the office for pick up, (2) pay them $15 for them to mail it to me the following week, (3) meet him in Concord Mills that evening when he is done doing what he was doing. None were acceptable for me. He did find a way to get the drive back to the office for pickup after 4:30 that Friday. When I opened the package, my hard drive had been removed from the protective casing. I brought this to the owner's attention via text and his response was "those are plastic casings and anyone else who fixes it will have to remove it and throw it away anyway". I was floored. All of this for an ESTIMATE that took a week to get. I dropped it off in tact yet had to pick it up disassembled. BEWARE! Do not trust your devices or your time to this company!
