At just under 200 miles the new belt that Essary installed shredded. I called expecting that they would either refund or replace the belt, but was told that they would not do anything for me. Too bad. We thought we had found a place that we could trust to service our Yamaha. After being in the corporate world for years, and then co-owning a successful business for 15 years, I am surprised to see a company that handles things in this manner. Instead we were given the number for the company that made the belt and told that we would have to deal with it ourselves. We still need front tires for our Yamaha, along with upgrades that we have planned, but we will not be taking our Yamaha back to Essary. Two years later we have changed the oil at half the recommended schedule. The rebuilt engine by Essary burns about a quart every 200 miles and is smoking out the tail pipe. We are finally going to retire our side by side because even with the rebuilt engine it is no longer reliable. We will never return to this place for service. read more

While riding my Yamaha across country from California to Louisiana, I got a flat heading out of Yuma. I looked up the local Yamaha dealership and gave them a call. It was a Friday afternoon and that dealership seemed annoyed at my call and couldn't even tell me if they had a new tube that would fit my bike and couldn't offer any assistance getting me there from across town so I had to call a tow truck. While I was waiting for a tow a friendly passerby stopped and gave me some water and talked to me for a minute about my situation, they recommended I try Essary instead, and said they were really close, I looked on a map and to my surprise I was only a few blocks away. So I called em up and the owner said he had a tube and could get me in and out right away. I pushed my bike to the shop and they had me back out on the road lickety split. They did a great job on my tire and it cost me a fraction of what it would've been had I gone to the dealership across town, never mind saving me the tow fee. The owner and the guy at the counter (sorry I forgot the names) were both super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and I felt super grateful for finding them. If you're ever in the Yuma area and in need of a good moto shop, I would definitely recommend their high quality service and value. read more

Went in one time. So far. I want to give them my business because they were immediately attentive and provided good service. I just bought a motorcycle and this will be my go to place for parts and service. I tend to focus my loyalty on how I'm treated as a customer. The other place in town, not so much. I would stay away from here. Had a few things repaired here and had to get all fixed somewhere else.

We blew a paddle out on our RZR in Gordon Wells right before New Years. They checked it out and we found out it wasn't repairable. They had a set of paddles at a really great price and installed them on the spot. Great service and great people. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Best customer service in Yuma hands down! Essary is the ONLY place I take any of my equipment because I trust them completely. I recommend all my friends every time they ask for the best mechanic and technician around. Joey and his wife are an amazing team and she knows what she's talking about when you ask her questions on just about any piece of equipment. I can't give them enough credit for the personal service they give their customers and the quality of their work! The worst place in Yuma!!! I bought my can am brand new in 2019 and had lighted whips installed and my first annual service...no issues...then i just took it there in September 2021 after Labor Day to have my annual service and purchased a new light bar and had it installed. I should have listened to my family and friends to not take it to this place!!!! So i got to the dunes last weekend and my whips would not turn on! I looked under the console and they unplugged my whips when they installed my new light bar to the button next to it. So i emailed the owner and he said he didn't do it. Well I surely didn't do it because all i do is drive it and put it back in storage. No on else touches my can am. The reason i pay to have it professional installed and serviced annually. So the owner emailed me and after back and forth told me how to connect it. I did it and then it only worked for a few minutes then lights out again. I called the shop first thing Monday morning and they are saying to bring it in and can't guarantee they will look at it this week or next week. This is nonsense. So you messed up and can't fix a job i paid almost $900 for??? I hope this business shuts down! They are rude and annoyed anytime you call for an update when you have your vehicle there. read more
