Falafel Tanami - Super soft and savory falafel I have ate! Delishh sandwich

I got few whole pitas plus humus. Food was cheap but tasted delicious Whole pita is stuffed with 5 falafel balls fries, salad, cabbage, pickles and more. Tahini sauce is flavorful and a pita leaves you stuffed for $10 The humus is creamy and with a hint of lemon. Highly recommend and will definitely be back Plus the place is vegetarian which is great when entertaining a friend of ours who is vegan.

The restaurant is certainly clean and I like how it's in the open so you can see all the action and cleanliness. I ordered their falafel whole pita sandwich and was told I can add whatever choosing I wanted. I also ordered two sides of their falafel balls to enjoy. They were 3 balls for $1. As for the sandwich, I thought it only tasted okay. I was very hungry at that point so if I thought my sandwich was okay then I know I'm not a fan of it. The flavoring was bland, I asked for spicy sauce but didn't taste any. I also asked for the fried eggplants to find out as I'm biting into it that there was none. Make sure you watch them when asking for your choosing. They might now hear you and you'll just end up feeling disappointed like me because I love the taste of eggplants. Regarding the falafel ball, I thought it was too doughy. I usually like them a little more loose and garlicy.

The person who served me was quite pleasant and helpful. She answered all my questions about the food. I enjoyed my food immensely. The only downside to this restaurant is that they allow dogs inside. It's too small of a place for pets. One dog was jumping on everything inside the store area and it made me think about whether that was hygienic because of its paws all over the streets of NY.

Folks would trek in from miles around for it. Yesterday's hummus - purchased 4 days before last sale date - was nasty. It used to be rich and creamy - we would devour the tub in a day. This is not the first time we have been disappointed. And the pita which was usually soft and delicious was stale. Even heating it didn't help. Since their food used to be exceptionally good, it makes me wonder what happened. They recently moved from across the fire house to the corner of Stratford. Nothing from the new location is any good. I'm giving 2 stars because I like them, but its really a negative star

I like the salad bar that has all the offering. The beef kofta was good, but a bit under seasoned as well as the chicken samosa. Beef kofta and lamb over rice tasted a bit healthier by using leaner meat, hence a nicer texture. The chicken tikka was a bit dry and under seasoned as well. I really enjoyed the rice and salad that went along with the meal. The lamb over rice was better tasting than the usually halal cart. I really enjoyed the sauce that was put on the side to go with my meal. I was a bit sad when the beef kofta and chicken tikka didn't come with bread. I will come back for healthier halal option. Also, it was a friendly service.

Crunchy on the outside and the inside had bits of chickpeas and a great texture. The combo of chicken and lamb over rice was a refreshing take. The gyro meat was soft and tasty, rice was seasoned and fluffy. The pickled veggies were delicious and perfect to cut down on the heaviness of the meal. Overall a lovely lunch for $13 total (paid in cash)
