Wow! This is the best bagel in NYC! I got sesame toasted with cream cheese and it was perfection. No notes. Loved. The chicken salad was dry even though it appeared to have an adequate amount of mayo. The chicken chunks were super dry. That is my only complaint. The staff was friendly, the coffee was good, and this location has a nice seating area!

We found this place next to our hotel in Times Square and we ended up eating breakfast here almost…read moreevery morning! Great bagel sandwiches (sausage egg & cheese was my favorite!) and their iced coffees were amazing! They serve them in plastic/metal sealed containers so they tend to stay cold longer. I tried 3 different coffees in 3 days and they were all great! Service can be a little slow at times because it gets CROWDED in the mornings, but I won't knock them for that. Also there is only a tiny area to sit but it's NYC so that is typical.

The ambience was really inviting as the decor was whimsical and colorful. For a rainy Sunday the…read moreplace was packed, but my husband & I were able to secure a table to dine in. For it being our first time, we were a little confused with the ordering process, and they were so busy that it took a while to be acknowledged. There were kiosks to place the order, but we couldn't find a place to request special requirements, so we had to figure out how we could order at the register amongst the slew of other customers. Our order for 2 bacon egg and cheeses were called with a biscoff iced latte and we were excited at first. But when we opened the sandwiches our bacon was just 3, maybe 4 fatty pieces when we specifically asked for crispy bacon. My husband settled for his, but I requested a reorder where they corrected the bacon issue, and even put more slices. Besides that snafu, I was excited for my latte, but was also underwhelmed by the taste. I assumed since it was a biscoff cookie latte (which I love) that it would be sweeter... The establishment was nice, and there were so many selections, so we would give it another try before writing it off completely.

If you're in Midtown and are looking for a solid bagel shop, Liberty Bagels Midtown is the place to…read morego. My wife and I stopped by before heading to work and there was a pretty short queue, despite it being the breakfast rush. The queue moved quickly and everyone at the front was just waiting around for their orders to be prepared. I opted for a toasted jalapeño bagel with honey bacon sriracha cream cheese while my wife got an un-toasted sesame bagel with lox cream cheese. They really load up the cream cheese here! The bagels here are some of the largest bagels I've seen; you'll probably want to split one unless you're planning on skipping lunch. The exterior of the bagel had a nice crunch to it after being toasted, while the inside had a nice chew to it. The crumb looked perfect. The cream cheese is rich and thick and as a result, it's not super easy to spread around without a knife. For $7 or so, it's about on par with what I'd expect to pay for a bagel with cream chese. The variety here is seriously impressive: there are so many different types of sweet and savory cream cheeses. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Liberty Bagels in the sea of bagel shops in New York.

I do NOT play about my cream cheese, so I love that they're generous with it And I loveeee a good strawberry cream cheese! This is literally a New York staple to me, I don't care what anybody says. 10/10, I will always come back. YUM!
