Shortly after the same lady came out to take our order and as she was leaving she slammed the menus on the table next to us loudly and with force. A while later our food had arrived. As she was giving us our food she said and I quite "no pepper " I said that's me and proceeded to hand the plate she implied was with no peppers to my friend and my friend said "no sorry that's not mine" and I said "I thinks it's mine I got it with no peppers" she turned to me in the RUDEST manor and said "yes you will have to wait" I was shocked and uneasy my friend turned to her and said" you are being so rude " and she said rudely , cheeky and just so smart "I'm not being rude" "am I being rude " and we just could not believe that this happened we didn't even finish our food we left in shock. We went to the till to pay for our food and the lady was so sweet behind the counter she said "if you guys are ever in a rush on your lunch just let us know we can accommodate you" it wasn't that we were in a rush it was that she was so rude and we understand it's lunch hour, rush hour and it can be stressful but it really left us unhappy and made us not want to go back ever again. Really disappointed and frustrated over it.

I visited along with my friend for lunch, and we ordered the Cajun chicken Panini, gourmet chicken panini and a bowl of soup with a side of bread/butter. Each of the paninis were cooked to perfection -- you could literally taste the flavor of everything in each one. The Cajun was the perfect blend of chicken and cheese. The gourmet was an incredible mix of sweet and salty. Seriously could not recommend these more...so so impressed. We were so hungry, that I never got a chance to take a photo of the food - ha! I also ordered the soup of the day which came with their homemade bread -- truly incredible. I'm still raving about this and am so glad it was recommended. A MUST stop in Galway! There is a beautiful outdoor seating area that's been really well landscaped and put together. Lots to look at while you wait for your coffee. There is also a lovely bright converted upstairs with lots of seating and some comfortable sofas to boot. I really love the decor here. It's country style, but fresh and clean. It's a pleasure to dine here. Their menu has a really good selection of eats from sandwiches to full cooked lasagnas, you won't be left wanting. I decided to go with the Tuna Melt. Other members of my party also opted for sandwiches, the club sandwich looking particularly lovely. While I enjoyed my tuna melt, I was expecting a little better. The melt looked great on the plate (see attached picture) but looked more like mini pizzas to me. I think next time I'll be sure to ask for it as a sandwich instead. The club sandwich looked fantastic and the portions are excellent value for money. It would be a really great rival spot to the nearby Bective for evening food.
