Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the verde, which was a bummer since it's usually my favorite. The chunky guac, though, was a solid 10/10. The margarita flights were 30% off, so that was an easy choice. Tons of flavor options to pick from, which was fun. For my main, I went with the Suizo burrito topped with melted Chihuahua cheese. I didn't love it -- maybe I'm spoiled living in the Quad Cities where we've got incredible Mexican spots on every corner. Something about it just felt a little off. To top it off, we were constantly swatting away flies at our table, which didn't help. Still, the service was great and our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing as ever tonight, and the staff was busier than ever. Everyone is treated like family at Las Brasas. Steak Feliz for me, Chimichanga for my wife, and queso with the house salsa to share. Check the video -- the flavor was even better! We had to drive full around the block to find parking, they were so popular, yet staff was on top of our needs, friendly as ever, and they were moving customers like clockwork.
