I needed to have 2 outlets installed on the ceiling and have gotten several quotes. I was very surprised when David offered to come out to give me a quote, given that this is a very small job. When he arrived at my house without being prompted, he offered to take off his boots before entering. It's not a big deal, BUT, it is... He was courteous, didn't pressure, didn't try to sell me other modifications, and his pricing was fair. So, I decided to go with. I have had a great experience with Espys. I called them to troubleshoot some electrical wiring problems for my car garage and my apartment. I was not present at the apartment and they were able to follow instructions, got in and out with no problem. They replaced all the problem outlets, and fixed the electrical problems in the garage. They are very motivated people, I would not worry about letting them handle any electrical problems in the future. I don't review very often but these guys are going to be my go-to electricians. Besides giving a good, straight up price, the absolute deal-maker was the level of trust they instilled from what they said, their execution, and follow through. Jonathan was exceptionally respectful and detailed throughout the job starting from the front door. The job was relatively small with just a couple of 3-way dimmers and gfci switches to be installed and was quoted as such. It turned out to to take a lot longer than anticipated as Jonathan worked to eliminated all possibilities when the switches didn't work. I was impressed with Jonathan's ethics in working through the problem and David's professionalism in supporting him from the office when problems arose. In the end, they stuck with the original quote (minus the hardware cost since since I used my own switches) even though they spent more man hours than was anticipated. I wish I can share more details of the experience and results here but to keep it short, I'll be calling these guys again. read more

I put a Yelp service request for an electrician super early in the morning and I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Espys rather quickly( 7:45am). They quoted me a price and were at my house within a couple hours. David was clear and concise with his communication and the electrician who arrived (Jonathan) was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I generally search for companies with a large number of reviews but from the get go I felt extremely comfortable with Espys . I was beyond satisfied with the service and I already had them quote me on future work that I want to get done. After procrastinating on my failed kitchen ceiling lights, I decided to finally change the fluorescent tubes. When I flipped the switch, I heard a static noise, saw some smoke, and then heard a pop. I immediately turned off the switch and went on line to find an electrician. I came across Espy's Electrical with 48 recent reviews all 5 stars! I called and spoke to David who assessed the problem as a bad ballast. He scheduled me in the next day at 2pm. The next day I got a call at 2pm sharp to notify me they were on the way. Fifteen minutes later they were here and got to work. Jonathan and his brother were both very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. They were very respectful of my kitchen asking permission to put their tools and parts around the area. As they were working they explained what they were encountering and the fixes they were doing. After 2 hours of hard labor they tested the lights and had success. They put everything back together, swept and vacuumed the area, and wiped the ceiling molding clean. Their price was reasonable considering the work put in and preventing me of a fire hazard. I recommend Espy's Electrical Services if you want it done right. read more
