I got a Bananas Foster Dirty Chai (10/10). Not only was my order delicious, but it was pretty inexpensive compared to other coffee shops. My drink was only about $5. I often get the same item at other coffee shops that will sometimes be $10+. Also, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing. You can tell that the owners and employees really put work into making this place special.

We stopped in about 9:20 am and they were out of some food and drink items. We were informed that the restaurant next door makes their food, however after we ordered, we saw that our food was just being heated up in a microwave. Everything was served in or on plastic. The crepe was not good at all, I took a few bites and just threw it away. There was no flavor, no seasoning, the eggs were rubber and the cheese was so overpowering. The blueberry scone was dry and was also lacking in flavor. It's crazy that this is one of the only high rated coffee shops around. It is decorated uniquely inside but neither the food nor drinks is worth stopping in for.

Now, I knew I wanted to stop here because one coffee took the forefront of my mind from the menu…read more It practically jumped out at me when I saw it there SPUMONI! I love spumoni. It's a delicious blend of chocolate, cherry pistachio all those great things in one and typically an Italian flavor of ice cream with a scoop served after a good meal. Having that transferred into a coffee is the optimal way to start your morning. It was extremely delicious, we left Tennessee a month ago and this coffee is still in my mind! It had a cherry whip, with a chocolate drizzle but the flavor also felt like it was IN the drink itself. The size was also perfect, I'm pretty sure this was a medium, and despite the fact that it had all those yummy flavors at play it wasn't overpowering. It was just the right sweetness level for me, and I still got the taste of what it was coffee! It was really quiet inside when we decided to go, this is tucked away from the street in a place called Elk Plaza, the plaza does have its own parking, however, it is strictly limited to when you're spending time at the plaza so do not go elsewhere or you will risk being towed. We decided to make a walk here from our hotel. The staff was fast the wait was maybe about 4 - 6 minutes they took a lot of care in making my drink which you can see in the way it was displayed, overall I wish they were a chain so they could open one up the street from me because I miss this coffee so much!

The Heavenly Roast is a MUST when visiting the Smokies!!!…read more The shop is easy to find in Wears Valley, and what beautiful scenery surrounds the shop! Karen, one of the owners, has put so much thought into creating a fantastic and memorable space. The outdoors just got an upgrade with the addition of a little garden adjacent to the porch. There is a beautiful mural, a lovely fountain, and fun furniture that give the space such a fun vibe! Once you climb the stairs, you'll see various spots to lounge on the porch from rustic looking benches and chairs to swings hanging from rope. Upon entering the shop, it is a combination of rustic mountain decor with fun and whimsical pieces--- from the coffee tree to the taxidermy squirrel riding the bucking fox rodeo style. The place is so inviting, comfortable, and it's charm is unmatched. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee in the Smokies. Spouse and I always get the Campfire Latte, and it's incredible with mocha, white mocha, and toasted marshmallow syrup. We have also had the Heavenly Harvest from their Fall drink menu, and we loved that too! Our coffee is always delicious and we just keep coming back for more! Karen and her baristas do such an awesome job making our coffee and it says something when they don't ask you anymore what you'll be having. Building rapport is an understatement as they make you feel much more than just another customer, but a part of their coffee house tribe.

I loved the look of it, it was so rustic and countryesque. The service was friendly and fast. Nothing crazy to report on there. My only issue is that the latte special for the fall was $11 and it's not advertised on the poster... I got the salty vermonter thinking it'd be $7-8 and to see $11 is just crazy. Maple syrup is expensive but surely not that much!? That being said, the latte was salty from the butter and at first I didn't love it, but it ended up growing on me. By the end I did enjoy it. However I can't justify coming back here after spending $13 total when you include subbing for oat milk + fees for one latte :( Overall a very cute, friendly place but be prepared to drop some $$$!

They also sell house-made vanilla extract in cute little bottles, coconut and lemon sugar, adorable mugs, and a variety of teas and trinkets. I wish I could buy everything in this shop, it's so cute.
