Saeco offered to ship my unit to Espresso Resource NW, but did suggest that I contacted this service center and see if they could take care of my espresso machine. I filled out a quick online form and Mr. Joe Cross replied within the hour, with a possible solution (I had described everything I had tried so far). IT WORKED!! I now have a fully functioning espresso machine, thanks to his generous suggestion and I won't have to ship it all the way to WA because, to be honest, I don't even know how to pack a 15lb espresso maker for safe shipping. I have had great service from ER-NW for a few years now. Both the past owner Darrin and now (since 2018) current owner Joe have been very honest about evaluating the condition of my 2011 Delonghi (DL) fully-automatic machine. (I mention Darrin because I think Joe has totally carried the torch from Darrin in continuing excellent, good value service.) Joe has communicated what does and doesnt need attention for repairs and I appreciate his honestly that has helped saved me money. Joe's work is excellent and his repair and shipping rates (I am in San Francisco and ship my machine to him) are both very reasonable and much cheaper than my local San Francisco Bay Area authorized Delonghi repair shops. On the contrary, both my local SF shops and Delonghi factory repair service have always quoted me inflated rates even for simple/minor repairs. Thus, even considering the UPS shipping, it has been very cost effective for me to ship my machine to ER-NW. Moreover, Joe also has had the reasonably priced, necessary replacement DL parts on hand for my machine. I highly wholeheartedly recommend ER-NW, esp for Delonghi machines. My Saeco espresso machine started giving me an error light. I tried to google how to fix it but didn't have any luck. I was first so excited to find that there was a local spot for espresso repair, so I eagerly went to drop it off. I took my machine in without an appointment, the owner was there working on other machines. We turned it on, he took one look, intentionally pressed some buttons and voila, it was fixed and he didn't charge me a dime. I fully expected to pay $50-$200 to have it fixed (and I would have been happy that). The owner is clearly a knowledgeable and honest guy. I have a DeLonghi Magnifica that I bought in 2007 when I worked at Starbucks, and to say I overuse it is an understatement. Last year after 6 years of hard use it finally stopped working, and after a lot of searching I found Darrin. He fixed the problem and did a tune-up, and it was working like new. Sadly, this week it blew a seal in the water pump - as I mentioned, this poor thing has a hard tour of duty. Darrin not only fixed the problem, he offered a less expensive solution that will have a better long term result. I'm with Erika D. - I'd give him ten stars if it was an option. Joe Cross has serviced our 12-year old Delonghi Perfecta several times over many years. He is efficient, reliable, timely, and prices parts and labor fairly. He even will email you a UPS label so once you have packed your machine according to his detailed instructions, all you have to do is put the label on then drop it at a UPS location. My Saeco espresso machine was leaking water. I took it to the E.R.NW for repair. Joe diagnosed the problem quickly. He had the part I needed in stock and did the repair right away. But because of his excellent service and friendly demeanor I know I can depend on him to keep my machine tip-top and will not hesitate to call with a question no matter how menial. Darrin and Espresso Resource NW are wonderful!!!! We have a Gaggia Titanium that I don't even know how many tens of thousands of coffees it has made. I know we have had it since 2005. Anyway about a month ago it stopped grinding and my husband thought we had finally used it up. Today, out of sure chance I called and got Darrin on the first ring, I asked him for a quote to send up my machine and if it was worth it. He volunteered to try to guide me though fixing it on own so I wouldn't have to ship it. After 15 minutes of his expert guidance, it was fixed. He even told me how many times to run the coffee through to get the best cup, helped alter my settings, and test the consistency of the grounds. He is amazing and it didn't cost me a cent, which I feel a bit guilty about. My husband just got an early fathers day gift because his beloved espresso machine is not back up and running. Darren M (new owner of Espresso Resource NW) did a great job working on our little baby in a reasonable time, for a fair price and it's back at work on our countertop. We took our Saeco Odea over to him in Vancouver and visited the shop to see lots of Saeco units there. I guess he's the only, or one of the only, Saeco dealer in the US. Certainly no shortage of machines! Refurbishing/recycling is almost as popular in the northwest as coffee, so no surprise this place should do a bang up business! Darren said he sells refurbished ones, but my wife wasn't really interested in any models he had since ours has the tallest cup tray in the industry and a small footprint, rotating side to side for water fill and puck/cleaning. So we really wanted THIS machine back. No worries; no problem; Darren willingly diagnosed and rebuilt our lil Odea buddy and we had it back in operation on countertop within a week. Cool. read more

I cannot praise Espresso Resource NW enough. My Saeco Exprella super automatic was not working half the time because the grinder was worn out. I contacted Darrin by phone and we agreed that I could drop off my machine on a Friday on my way up to Seattle from Albany Oregon. He diagnosed that my grinder needed to be replaced. He had a new one in stock and said he would get it done as soon as possible. I called him later that weekend from Seattle. He had finished the replacement and agreed that I could pick up the machine on my way home. The machine has been working perfectly since the repair which was done a couple of months ago.
