    Oh my gosh, I just called Espresso Repair Experts and talked to them about the lack of brew pressure on my 2 year old Rancillo, after talking to him he said check your grind, well, that fixed it....over the phone. Awesome, if and when I need service this will be the only place I'll go. By the way, I was on hold for 5 minutes with Seattle Coffee Gear, when I hung up and decided to give Espresso Repair Experts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He took extra time to explain things and show us what he was doing and even helped with things above and beyond such as cleaning our drain for us to ensure that everything was in best condition. It is very hard to find honest and trustworthy knowledgeable people these days, but Zhen's appliance is definitely this. Hasn't always been easy, but Jerry (Zhen's owner) was a breath of fresh air. Responded quickly on a Friday afternoon, had a window the following Monday, and showed up on time. Was back and forth to his van a few times, and always put on booties before coming back in the house. Identified the problem quickly, and it only took a few minutes to fix. However, he was here for over an hour, because he didn't come to make a quick fix, but to make sure our whole appliance is in good working order. He ran a diagnostic, cleaned out a gunky fill box, and repaired some loose fastenings. When he pulled out the unit and saw how dusty and dirty it was under our counter, he even shot out to the van to grab his shop vac and clean the area. All of this for a very reasonable price. On top of that he's just a nice guy, too. Couldn't recommend him more highly. He only works on LG products, so the rest of you suckers are out of luck.

I tried calling - left a message. Again, left a message. Left another. Then my wife. Then me again. No call back. So - I was frustrated and scheduled an appointment. I didn't get any confirmation, so I called again and got the answering machine. I called back from a 503 number and low and behold, I finally talk to someone. They said that I have an appointment (tomorrow at 1PM). I saw something like - 'I must have missed the confirmation message' but there was none. The next day transpires and it is a no-call no-show. It is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I left a final message saying it seems like you are screening your calls and not responding to me for what I can only think is you don't want to have to fix the repair you made that did t work. Then my wife started calling again and again... got someone that said they would 'transfer her to accounting' -- HAHA! There is no 'accounting department' - what a scam. I just can't believe you were just so bad at every aspect and interaction. All the calls, the messages unreturned, no confirmation for the visit, the no-call no-show, how easy it was to get a hold of you from a different 503 number, and then the lie about the accounting department. How are you even in business?

I described my issue with my freezer (loud buzzing sound when the motor comes on) and he was able to schedule a technician to come by on Monday afternoon to work around my schedule. The technician, Vasyl, texted me when he was on his way and arrived promptly as scheduled. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue (ice build up that was hitting the freezer fan when it turns on). To repair, I needed to move all the food items out of the freezer and into coolers, and Vasyl was able to quickly repair the issue by manually defrosting the ice build up using a commercial steamer tool. He inspected the fan and it was still operating normally and no buzzing, so it did not need to be replaced. He was able to diagnose the issue and finish the work within one hour of arrival. The repair price was reasonable and the inspection fee was waived since I went ahead with the repair. Vasyl also answered my questions about how to prevent this from happening again and also some recommendations on future fridges when it is time to replace mine. Vasyl was very friendly, professional, and courteous. Thank you Vitalii and Vasyl for fixing my fridge on such short notice. My family really appreciates the quick turnaround, fast diagnosis and repair, your transparency on the issue, and not recommending any unnecessary replacement parts. You saved us money from buying a whole new fridge!

    i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

Ned and Mahdi went above and beyond to provide excellent service and I would want them to help with any other appliance installation in the future! They were professional and careful and methodical.
