Very cute coffee shop! Great variety of flavors for coffee, the staff was kind as well. Look forward to going back and trying more of their drinks!

Loved visiting here. The space is so inviting. Got a black iced coffee and their weekly special latte-Banana Vanilla Cupcake. Boy oh boy I will slap my mother over that latte-even had made to order caramelized banana on it. The staff were super nice and def took pride in their work.

The breakfast sandwiches so good. I had Southwest Brioche :Hot Sauce, Bacon, Scrambled Egg, Pepperjack Cheese, Sliced Avocado, Sour Cream loved it! Had a latte don't remember which one but was amazing. My friend enjoyed his sandwich and drink. We got Evelyn's lemonade to go. The service was great. And the place has a hip young vibe, will be returning.

I love that this place open so early! The Wi-Fi is extremely strong and I had no issues getting my work done. Staff is nice and there are a lot of options for you to choose from. Everything was perfect except for my coffee. My pumpkin latte tasted like nasty chemicals with an aftertaste. I could tell that it was just the syrup and not the coffee itself because the taste was coming from the very bottom of the cup. I was also disappointed that the build your own sandwich was marketed as scrambled eggs, but came with the premade round egg piece. It tasted fine, but just not what I had expected. I will definitely be back and will just try something different.

This coffee stop has tons of different ways to order from online , a QR code, or DoorDash . It is on a busy intersection with street parking. The cashier was friendly and welcoming . The strawberry matcha was so good ( I ordered a small 16oz ) . So good I wish I ordered a large ! We ordered two sandwiches to go and a BYO and a southwest . Both still hot when we got home. I can see this place becoming part of our routine. If the sandwiches are this good as take out it I would love to stay in their small but cozy dining space to enjoy the breakfast right away.

Really good specialty lattes. I drank a hot sticky monkey bread latte which includes 4shots for a large. For food, I had the southwest brioche sandwich. It was good, I had a voucher through RI Food Fights for the sandwich. For the reason that it was "free," it was satiating, but I wouldn't come back for the sandwich and pay $10. The sandwich was: fluffy brioche roll, scrambled eggs with some cheese, and then a thin spread of avocado + 2 slices of bacon. Coffee, yes, I would come back.

This space is super elegant and cozy! Iced coffee is delicious and sourced from a local roaster. Had the hot Matcha latte, and it did not disappoint. The breakfast sandwiches are bomb! Service was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, this is a great spot to come and hang out with some friends or study. Nice and quiet.

This place is fairly new and very cute and cozy inside. There is only on street parking on a very busy intersection, so be careful! There is a good size dining area indoors. The food looked really good, although I only ran in quick for some coffees.. They have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches and coffee drink options. The prices are moderate. There is free wifi. The decor is artsy, I really loved the creativity of the lights I posted a picture of. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

Always looking for a relaxing cafe on the weekend to grab breakfast and lattes with the wife. Found this place and it didn't disappoint!! Super cute inside. Service was super pleasant and we even got breakfast sandwiches at noon! After my runnthis morning, I was starving! I ordered my large latte, a chocolate croissant, a frosted Heckler? And The cure breakfast sandwich. My wife also ordered a large Cinnamon Dolce Latte and The Cure sandwich. So relaxing inside with a fireplace, and booths and tables We will definitely be back!

I was in the neighborhood and needed a place to study plus get something to eat and Espresso by Strive showed up on google as closest. First time there; only street parking from what I could see and street can be a lot busy. The shop has a lot of small tables plus little corner seat that could be cute for a date. It was a Saturday around 1pm and wasn't busy. I wasn't sure what to order but saw person in front get this hibiscus Evelyn's lemonade that looked good so i ordered it too. It was delicious but a bit pricey; a large, with tip came to around $7. It also had a lot of ice so i don't know if it was worth the price. I also got a BYOB eggs in a wrap, with goat cheese and i added prosciutto. It had a lot of scrambled eggs, cooked well but was missing something; felt like no spice or even salt. I didn't stay long because i needed to study but couldn't find a place to plug in my laptop at all, looked at all walls, so not a good study spot. There is free wifi though.

Great coffee shop with a pretty chill vibe. This is the kind of place you could sit for hours. Would be a great place to either get some work done of meet up with friends. We visited today with our RI Food fights iced coffee coupons, and they brewed decaf for iced coffee just for me! We also had a breakfast sandwich with cheddar, pesto, egg, goat cheese and bacon on a croissant and it was an amazing combination of flavors. Service was friendly, just be prepared to wait for food since everything is cooked to order (it's well worth the wait!). Glad we stopped here today!

This was my first time trying Espresso (my fiance second time) upon entering, the decor and general aesthetics are in line with what you'd expect at a typical local coffeehouse, very chill and relaxed, welcoming, warm. Fiance ordered a hazelnut iced latte and breakfast sandwich but was told they were out of croissants so he opted for a bagel with it, i ordered a cinnamon dolce iced latte and a turkey and halloumi panini with fig jam. Coffees were really good in my opinion, that alone would make me come back. However food was a bit of a miss for me. After being told they had no croissants, we heard a few people after us order the same sandwich with croissants (a bit inconsistent if you ask me). nevertheless, my fiance really enjoys their breakfast sandwich and the aioli it comes with, he was just a bit disappointed cause he's not really a bagel guy but didn't really have much of a choice. the turkey and halloumi would have been so good if it weren't so sweet! the fig jam spread on both sides of the bread was just too overpowering and overly sweet which made for an unpleasant sandwich. overall i would skip that sandwich in the future and give something else a shot.

A beautiful clean coffee shop with great coffee and food!! We came in on a Saturday morning and were nicely greeted by staff- the entire place is well decorated, and very clean. I got the s'mores iced latte which was DELICIOUS! I also got the breakfast sandwich, super big and super filling! Everything was delicious. We definitely recommend stopping in to try their different options!

Luckily, they do have a large space with lots of tables and some couches so finding a seat wasn't a problem. Their menu includes drinks and food (breakfast and lunch). My friend and I shared the BOM sandwich which comes on a Portuguese BOLO with gruyere cheese, roasted red peppers, onion, spinach, BOM sauce, chorizo, and fried egg. For our drinks I had a cinnamon crunch iced coffee with whole milk and coconut cold foam and my friend had one of the coff-tails. I took in all the artwork around the walls while I waited for our order to come out. They brought the sandwich out to us, but I went up to the counter to get the drinks. The sandwich was incredibly good, especially the BOM sauce that was a little spicy. The sausage was thick and well cooked, and the veggies tasted fresh. The bread was very good too but I wish it was slightly toasted (next time). My drink was good. It was not sweet at all, which the cashier did prepare me for, but it still tasted good to me. The milk and coconut cold foam made it very creamy and the coconut flavor was very present throughout. We paid around $20 for the sandwich and two drinks which is fair. They have a drive thru window on the left side of the building, with the line wrapping around the back of the building, with plenty of parking in the front and back for dining in.

There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.

It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! Driven by heavy social media presence on Instagram, this shop proved to be a classic example of a cute concept that fails on execution. The shop features a modern, clean aesthetic but suffers from highly inefficient operations. The layout makes it unclear where the ordering line actually begins, and the printed menus do not match the menus displayed on the wall. This forced a rushed ordering process, leading me to order a standard Strawberry Matcha. While the drink's presentation was pretty, the flavor was only average and did not justify the steep, overpriced cost--especially for an establishment located in a prominent college area. Color was on point but flavor was very milky and slightly tart. I don't say this often, but it needed sugar. Service was interesting. Drinks are served filled to the brim without lids. You retrieve the lids yourself in a separate counter area. This design flaw was highlighted when a nearby couple spilled their entire order onto the floor simply while walking over to get a cap. Rather than stepping in immediately to help clean up the mess and offer new drinks, the staff stood and stared at this couple for longer than they should have before offering assistance. Also, I would've liked a teddy bear too but didn't see it on the menu so I didn't order it. Between the high prices, lackluster service, and operational confusion, the overall experience does not warrant a return visit. Go get a sugarcane drink around the corner instead!

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish.
