Jadia was our server and she is absolutely top notch! Personable, efficient, and quite knowledgeable about menu items' ingredients. She made certain my wife's dietary limitations were met. The food itself was delicious, though 2 things prevented my rating our dinner 5 star: my wife's scallops were beautiful and cooked just long enough, but would have been even better had they been seared so that their exterior was a little crispy; and my sea bass was over salted. My shrimp were perfect, as were veggies, potatoes, salad, and Pinot Noir by the glass. Very reasonable tab: $90 for 2 dinners and 3 glasses of wine. We will definitely return. read more

The shrimp/chicken pasta was terrible. Definitely don't get this entree item. The sauce was bland/tasteless and the chicken was un-chewable and unseasoned. Overall, I think this restaurant has better options and we may have just chosen entree items that don't reflect the quality of other dishes. It was without a doubt one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. I ordered the grilled scallops she got grilled shrimp. The service was excellent, the food was top notch! The scallops were like butter sweet and juicy, not overcooked and tough. Her grilled shrimp were perfect. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Then I also asked that they make modifications to the dish! They obliged happily! The lunch specials are a great deal Are well! This day they offered a cowboy steak and two sides, salad and drink for 9$ but they were out so my son got a chicken breast dish for the lunch menu price instead! Lunch at Eslava's today. As always, wonderful. This family turns out wonderfully fresh and varied seafood at a very fair price. Today's lunch was rainbow trout with lemon caper sauce. With drink and salad, $12. We go to Galatoire's in New Orleans and their $24 seafood lunch comes in second to E'slava.
