No trust. Stay away. Spectrum Mobile sent a representative…read moreinto my now deceased mother's home in Lincoln City, Oregon, to set up her cable service. The tech talked her into mobile service and sold her a smartphone and service plan--the phone was later shipped to her. My mother had dementia. She and her elderly friend were unable to set up the phone, and there is no local customer service office in that city. My mom had no car, had just moved there, and had no other local support. I spent over 30 hours on the phone and made two in-person visits to my local Spectrum store trying to get her money refunded. Then, just today, I found out they ripped me off, too! When I upgraded my own phone through Spectrum, the phone support agent made it sound like I was getting a huge trade-in deal on my 1-year-old phone and would pay only $157. In reality, the $157 was the trade-in value--and I owed $842 for the new phone. This was a long conversation with the tech, and I was overjoyed with my deal. There is no universe in which I would have knowingly agreed to upgrade my 1-year-old phone....why, except for the fake deal of the century, apparently. They blatantly lied and buried the truth in the contract fine print. This company preys on the elderly in their own homes. They will take advantage of you if you let them. This feels like slavery to the company store.

Terrible "customer service", to be accurate the rating system needs to go less than zero. This…read morecompany's system for addressing customers needs is tedious and very time consuming by design. If you want to "upgrade" and spend more you can do this on the web site in minutes. However if you want to reduce or cancel services a "in person" visit is necessary. Once at the retail outlet a sign in appointment is required. Staff seems completely unaware and not concerned how long the wait is and leave the service area for breaks and unexplained reasons for long periods of time. Currently on my fourth visit to return equipment after canceling a grossly over priced cable package.

I was a franchise and we worked together as I was on the advisory council and she was in charge of all of the marketing. She managed the website(s), helped franchisees with their Pay Per Click Campaigns, Social Media, Ad campaigns - print, radio, and TV, and put out fires for franchisees when they needed. Considering there were 250 to 300 franchisees this was a tremendous task. Which she seemed to manage easily. In 2014 she had left the Mr. Rooter Plumbing corporate offices and I took advantage of the situation and hired her immediately to do all of my marketing. She helped me grow my business by 10% a year which is exactly what I wanted. She was able to manage the marketing so we grew at the appropriate amount, not too little or too much. It is a clever dance which she seemed to handle easily. In 2016 I decided to leave the Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchise and re-brand. A risky and difficult transition since I had been a franchise for 20 years. Fawn brought us through the transition unscathed. Without increasing our marketing budget Fawn was able to rebrand the company and we never lost a bit of business. I should mention that Busy Bee Media was with us along the way. The built the new websites and managed all of our Pay per click campaigns. With Fawns guidance and Busy Bee's expertise, we are now growing again under our new brand. Marketing is a strange and difficult animal to manage. The ability to keep it moving along happily is difficult and requires expert knowledge and analysis and being able to interpret the data correctly.
