Grand finale August 16th was big drama over having to talk to a police officer after yesterday's client was stolen from-- via a phone call 20 minutes after scheduled start time--and it turned out the officer just phoned for a few minutes, but meanwhile we were totally NO-SHOWED AGAIN. So I just requested return of our gate opener. THAT WAS NEARLY A MONTH AGO. He responded immediately and stopped later the same day to take a look at my yard. I received an estimate quickly (same day). After getting a few more estimates I hired More Life for the project. He refers to them as his "skilled laborers." The first time they did, any landscaping work for me, their weed line broke on the weedeater and they left the job unfinished without any communication as to why they needed to leave or when they would complete it. They have also bid other jobs for me such as irrigation sprinkler repair, and a ramp rebuild/repair. Then, I didn't hear anything from any of the workers or management for three weeks. By the time they got back to me, I had already recd other bids, approved a bid, hired somebody, had the work completed and paid for the work. Their "skilled laborers" are "boys" who don't take their job or their clients seriously. I even had a text from Tanner after 11 pm. Both he and Dallas heard about it from me. Their laborers dictate rates to the owner. Not acceptable. They are not professional and should not be considered if you want quality work done at a decent price.

Enter Rob from Steadfast plumbing. Scheduling an appointment with Candy was straightforward and easy. She was very helpful answering any questions I had & was able to schedule an appointment sooner than expected. This put me at ease as the pump has been inoperable for a week already & we're in the midst of the rainy season. Rob arrived at the scheduled time and we discussed the issue. He presented me with a plan & estimate which i agreed to. The price was reasonable so i approved the work. I don't envy Rob's job as he had to crawl into the crawlspace in a few inches of standing water to remove the old pump & install (to my surprise & pleasure an American made unit) the replacement. Using his years of experience and knowledge, he remedied my problem issue in short order. After all was said & done my sump pump is back in operation & performing as expected.
