Sarah and Nicole are extremely knowledgeable and thorough. They greatly exceeded my mother's and my expectations. As a matter of fact, I hired Sarah soon after to handle my estate planning, which I had put off because my wishes were not your "cut-and-dry" type. Through Sarah's and Nicole's wise counsel and experience, I was finally able to articulate my wishes, sign my documents, and breathe a sigh of relief. Oh, and Lani, another assistant to Sarah I met, is top notch when it comes to warm and friendly customer service. She works the front desk and makes you feel right at home.

Here's my take on our meeting yesterday. My sister talked to your assistant last Friday on the…read morephone, told her what we wanted to do and made an appointment. When we walked in yesterday for our appointment your assistant didn't know who we were or why we were there. Moreover she was condescending, unfriendly and rude. The final straw was her looking down her nose at my sister saying something like "is this too complicated for you?" That's why the outburst occurred. As a retired legal assistant at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich snd Rosati in Palo Alto I was required to bend over backwards in politeness and helpfulness to our clients. Had I acted like your assistant yesterday I would have been fired. Further your assistant stated we needed an original death certificate to remove our brother from the trust. I'm unclear why we even needed a death certificate as we are the owners of the will and trust and can remove whomever we choose without reason. I removed a family member from my trust and will not one month ago because I wanted to. No reason required.

Their office did not forward me a copy of the trust for reasons never shared with me to this date. August 1, 2020 I sent their office a letter stating my sister could list and sell the property she had left us, as she is local and I live out of state. I received no reply from EPG, and still no copy of the trust. Earlier this year, It became obvious my sister was unable to fulfil the task of selling the property, and I reached out to the EPG to obtain a copy of the trust and execute my duties as Trustee in order to list and sell the property myself. June 29, 2022 (two years with no contact whatsoever from their office) I sent an email with my intentions. It took a while and multiple calls and emails to receive a response. I was informed the file was in storage off-site and they would need to retrieve it and contact me thereafter. Weeks worth of calls and emails were placed with EPG following. I'm sorry to say that as of this writing I still have not received a copy of the trust. I am greatly saddened and extremely disappointed in my deceased mothers choice to go with this firm. August 23, 2022 I received an email from Jack which states "Under the conflict of interest rules for attorneys, I won't be able to represent you since I gave advice to [my sister] in the past. I wish I could, but it is forbidden. I can definitely get you a copy of the trust for your review." It's odd that he is forbidden to speak with the named Trustee. I would never recommend using the EPG to anyone based upon my experience. The handling of my mothers affairs is not acceptable and there seems to be a track record of using the "conflict of interest" excuse based on other reviews I've seen. Because the trust is not in my inbox or mailbox as of this writing on Sept 2, 2022, I've decided to share my experience so that others may perform their own research beforehand and in hopes this information saves another from the same frustrations.
