The park sits in a relatively quiet and peaceful part of Clinton, and is conveniently on the way to historic old town and the community nature center. It also sits along the Natchez Trace Parkway so easy convenience getting on or off the Trace near the park. Features far more open space and area to roam around in than many parks I've seen in Clinton.

My parents are huge Braves fan and they were both extremely excited to have the minor league team come here! I've been to only one of the Mississippi Braves games and it was a ton of fun. I went with my parents and my two daughters. It just so happen they were playing the Jacksonville Suns (where I have lived for 17 years and where my daughters are from) that night. The game was very excited and both teams played very well. Of course my daughters and me rooted for the Suns all night long! I'm pretty sure we were the only people in the stands who weren't rooting for the Braves. About halfway through the game, the people behind us finally leaned down and said, "Y'all must be from Jacksonville." The girls and I gave them huge smiles and said, 'Yes we are... how'd you guess?!" And we all had a good laugh at that one. My Suns won that night! Yay! But the Braves didn't make it easy on them. I would love to catch another Braves game sometime when I visit Mississippi whether they happen to be playing the Suns again or another team.
