There must of been more then 10 tennis courts, and half were still empty despite all the people playing on the center courts. Park also has a playground, basketball court, pickle ball courts, & a large grassy area between tennis courts & pickle ball courts. Restrooms & drinking fountain available. Located on Main Street, clearly marked with signage, good size parking lot. Very clean, no litter. A small church with cemetery behind it located directly next to park. Church has a historical marker out front.

This is a tennis facility with a lot of courts--- approximately 50 or so---sometimes seems like a…read more100--as I understand it, this is one of the largest tennis facilities in the USA. The facility is bisected by a city street ----I think the original faculty was on 1 side of the street and then they expanded to the other side of the street---the City of Mobile supports this facility and has pushed it as a site for local, regional and national tennis tournaments of all ages---with that many courts, you have to do that. Overall, I think the facility for tournaments is great and it's well-run---also, they have equipment to dry the courts most other facilities do not have---and I think that's a result of the City's push to have large tennis tournaments held there ---its an incentive to go there if they have equipment which can rapidly dry courts since everyone knows it often rains in Mobile . As for the tennis courts themselves,, most are in excellent shape and has its own sitting area for the players---some courts only have benches; other courts have covered benches. For the times in which they tournaments, they courts are usually spectator-friendly and actually there's old fashion stadium type seating for 5-10 courts out there---overall, very impressed with the Mobile Tennis Center although when the event is larger enough, parking is a problem.

Baseball Park with 3-5 fields that includes a concession stand, tables, bleachers, electric access, restrooms, & port-a potties. Two new, smooth tennis courts with benches. Park has oak trees, benches & tables scattered throughout. Splash Pad with Picnic Shelter next to kids playground. Little Free Library for kids books near the brightly painted restroom building at the playground. Picnic Shelter has a soda machine, a sink, electric plug ins, tables, & two BBQ's. Free Parking near playground for at least 15-20 vehicles, smaller lot near baseball park is all handicapped parking. Pet Friendly Parks, Dogs Allowed. Clean, Quirt, no litter or sketchy people hanging around. FYI this park is directly next to the Satsuma City Graveyard just beyond the baseball area.

Benches and picnic tables throughout, some with BBQ pits. A blue building with rainbow painted doors directly in front of the parking lot. Signs advertising free meals for kids & movies in the park directly in front of the blue building. My family, dog, and I enjoyed this park, only issue was someone's dog was running loose no leash or owner, dog appears to live directly across the street from the park. Dog was not vicious, but I had to holler at it to make sure it stayed away from us and my dog. I notice a lot of loose dogs running about near parks here in Mobile, so this is not the first time I have encountered that at a local park. Just be cautious if you are there with pets or children.

The pavilions have large concrete tables and benches, the BBQ Pits ate huge, you can tell they have tons of cookouts at this park. There is a school next door to the park, but I do not know the name. Nice playground, good sized parking lot. Free meals for kids from Feeding The Gulf Coast. Saw a lot of Mobile County Parks & Recreation workers and trucks out there, it looks like some big renovation project was getting underway.

Lots of oak trees full of Spanish Moss and palm trees. Large field across from the park as well, I am not sure if it is part of the park or not. Large roofed pavilion with restrooms nearby. Benches and tables under the trees. I gave four stars instead of five because the bathrooms were locked. Appears safe, no questionable characters when I was there with my dog.
