I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I initially held off because I didn't want to risk anyone losing their job, but after reflecting on the experience, I felt it was important to share. I took my boyfriend here for a couples massage to celebrate his birthday on April 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM. While I usually go to The Post Oak for spa services--and have had consistently great experiences there--I decided to try something new this time. Unfortunately, I left very underwhelmed after spending $666.71. To start with the positives: the massages themselves were excellent. Alex and Nirva did a wonderful job and I have no complaints about their work. However, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The in-suite tub was filled with scalding hot water, making it unusable. We spent the entire allotted time just trying to cool it down. Afterwards, we were given a bottle of wine to enjoy and headed to the hot tub, which, surprisingly, was lukewarm at best. The area also wasn't properly cleaned--used towels and water bottles were left on the chairs from previous guests, even though the spa was mostly empty. I approached the front desk for help, and an attendant said she'd check the hot tub temperature and follow up in about 10 minutes. No one returned for over 25 minutes. When I went back to check, I saw two employees taking shots behind the front desk. I politely reminded them that the hot tub was still not warm and no one had followed up. One of them came back to reset the temperature again and returned in about 15 minutes--but the water still didn't improve. At that point, she offered 20% off the services or a complimentary bottle of wine or charcuterie board. Wanting to keep the mood light, we chose the wine, but we were only given two very small cups. In hindsight, I would've preferred the 20% discount--especially considering it would have been around $120 off. We then tried the sauna, only to find it wasn't working either. Again, I had to walk to the front desk to ask for help. The attendant informed me someone had accidentally turned it off and restarted it, and eventually it did work. But by then, I was over the whole experience. Before leaving, the front desk asked for feedback, and I mentioned the disappointing hot tub situation. I was told a discount might be applied, which I appreciated, but after checking with the manager (the same one who had offered the wine), they decided not to honor it. I didn't argue--I just paid and left. Will I return? Probably not. While the spa is beautiful and the massage was excellent, the overall service and attention to detail didn't meet the standard I'm used to--especially compared to The Post Oak. It was frustrating to have to constantly go to the front desk for help, particularly in what should have been a relaxing, seamless experience. May 14th I turned 50 years old and I wanted to do something I've never done before so I decided to do a spa: get a massage and a facial.I saw Pure strandz on a social media site by a celebrity Slim Thug and I thought why not try them out clearly if he was promoting them they had to be impressive. Well from the moment I stepped in the door until I left 2 hours later did not disappoint. The sincere warm greeting, the explanation of the service the fresh sweet aroma that lingered in the building all contributed to the amazing experience it was. My masseuse who was Stephen who was professional courteous and has the absolute best hands in the world. lol... I was a little embarrassed at the sounds I was making but he made me feel real comfortable and told me all of my expressions of pleasure was okay. That made me even more comfortable. And then the super amazing facial. Who knew that a facial could put you to sleep exfoliate your skin open your pores to the point that you feel that you have been given a new face. I couldn't wrap my testimony in one small paragraph because the experience was nothing small it made my 50th birthday memorable!! read more

My girlfriend booked a spa soiree for my family and I. The experience was amazing from beginning to end. My girlfriend raved about the customer service through email which ultimately made her choose this place amongst the other 3 locations she was looking into. We wanted wine instead of champagne, they provided it along with fruit, cheese and crackers. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had the entire place to ourselves which was great bc my family is loud. We laughed, took pictures in front of their backdrop, snaked and just had an amazing, light and fluffy time. The Pure Strandz Beauty experience was amazing! The assistant Sha was very welcoming and personable. Before booking the email experience was quick and personable as well. The massage therapists Sha and Otilia were amazing as well. We booked the couples special, and the setup was set in an intimate, relaxing tone. The therapist centered the massages around our personal lives as well as tension spots. We also decided to do a hot stone add on which was refreshing and amazing. I had a phenomenal experience at Pure Vichy for a spa day and it was absolutely amazing ! From the ambiance when you first walk through the door it invites you in with warm and cozy fragrances and energy ! The staff is very friendly and helpful and welcomed me with sangria ! Today I went in for a Brazilian Wax and when I tell you that I am so dramatic when it comes to waxing simply from the torture of going to other waxers. Julie assured me that this would not hurt I still braced myself for pain after she did one side I asked is that it, she responded with yes! I was like wow you are absolutely right it didn't hurt. Ok, so I dug real deep today and grew a pair. I decided to get my very first Brazilian Wax. I have heard that the new waxologist here was ouchless, so I said ok why not. I expected it to hurt and for me to be praying to God, but I was astonishingly surprised. On a scale of 1 to 10 the pain was only a 1.2. It was the best wax experience of my life!!!
