Someone in our group decided to choose the Harry Potter escape room. Unfortunately, the rest of our group was unaware it was the hardest escape room at this location. We had a fun time in the escape room. Our group was a mixture of experts and amateurs, so I think this room was a little too much for some of us. The clues in the first room seemed hard to find and understand, but we also had an issue with one player holding on to all the clues. We did manage to make it to the last room, but we needed a few extra minutes to complete it. I'd love to come back and give one of the other rooms a shot. We finished off our night with axe throwing. I've always wanted to go, as well as Andrew. My weapon of choice was the axe, but everyone else seemed to like the ninja stars more. We'll definitely be back in the nearby future!

It's inside the SouthPark Mall next to Cinemark and the food court. They are running a $20 all day unlimited play special through August 31st (2026) that is valid Monday through Thursday, during regular business hours of course. Includes console gaming, PC gaming, 300 inch screen gaming, and VR. For consoles they have Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo switch. When we walked in, Sam greeted us and gave us a quick run down. The whole vibe was really laid back and even with kids in there, it wasn't loud. My son used some of the consoles, played pool, used the VR headset several times, and even played chess so we stayed longer than we anticipated. We've wasted $20 on way more trivial things so I think this was an amazing deal! So when you walk in and the pool table sits in the entrance area along with the VR rides. By the way, if you don't want to pay by the hour or for the day, you can always stop in and pay for the VR rides separately. There is a sofa and also a couple recliners in front of the 300" screen. Then there are a couple rows of gaming (one on each side of the space) plus a corner with guitar hero and the drum set. Most of the spaces had gaming chairs, but there were also sofas and recliners for some of the gaming consoles. There is a bar height table with some stools and a chessboard at the end of that table. The place seemed well thought out. I liked that the kids were engaged instead of running around. I did see a couple of adults sitting in recliners (I do not know if they had to have a pass or not) and there's also plenty of seating outside in the food court area. They had T-shirts and hoodies for sale which I thought were priced extremely well. They had Funko Pops for sale and it looked like they also sell games and consoles. Overall I think this was well worth it and my son is 14 so I was able to walk around the mall a little while he was still playing games. Shout out to Sam who was so sweet from the time we got there until we left and even helped my son out when he was too shy to start a conversation with another kid. Sam's kindness made my day! We will definitely be back and I'd recommend checking them out during the summer special if you're looking for something fun to do while the kids are out of school!

They even have items for sale in the event you forgot something or you simply feel like buying paintball related stuff. I won't say it's a negative since it seems like it's what most parks are now doing, but be prepared to pay for field paint. I'm still on the fence here. Yesterday's outing had a bunch of chopped balls, but not sure if new ish marker or paint. Either way, continue to meet some great regulars here. Will definitely be returning.
