This place can get very very packed! Very popular and very good prices! I enjoyed a spinach omelet with some hot cocoa. The hot coco looked like a heavenly piece of art with a whipped cream carnation .so decadent!! Delicious. My eggs were delicious. I enjoyed the old Hollywood decor. It gave me something to look st whilst I waited for my brekkie. Everything was hot and delicious. I definitely would like to go back and the French toast!!!Very nice staff! My family... ordered the panCakes. Delicious!! Lovely waitress ~ helpful and speedy and nice.

This place is our favorite local breakfast spot. The kielbasa omlete is so delicious and always a hit!

Schnitzel and German potato salad $5!

As soon as I stepped on the front steps I knew I was going to like this place because of the sign up front - "All You Can Eat $1000.00" lmao. Erwin's has been on my list to try out since I moved to Bensalem, and I'm not sure why I kept passing it along but I'm so glad I finally went in. It was midweek at about 11 am and by the time we were getting ready for a late breakfast, the place was in full swing with tables full of regulars ready for lunch. The menu selection is concise, especially for lunch, but I came here for some schnitzel and potato salad so I was just excited it was only $5.50! My hubby ended up getting the schnitzel as well, but with mash potatoes and gravy which was also an amazing choice. As we sipped on our coffee which was nice an strong we also enjoyed some buttered rye and took the homey diner-esque decor. Once the food arrived it did not look like much on these giant white plates, but it was all delicious! The potato salad was some of the best I've ever had, and if that's not your style, then definitely do the creamy mashed potatoes and gravy that will transport you back to Thanksgiving dinners of 1968. I am looking forward to coming back and enjoying some breakfast which seems popular, and other comfort food items. For the price and taste, it is the perfect mom & pop place to check out.

Nope. I have wanted to like this place so have given it a few attempts but this last one was the final straw. The service was less than stellar, as was the food. Felt greasy and heavy. As we were waiting on our food, I went to the restroom to wash my hands & the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The toilet was not flushed, there were wet paper towels all over the floor and sink. It was just nasty.

Kielbasa Western Omelette - This has small pieces of Kielbasa cut up in the omelette with a very sweet tasting onion. I also added cheese and I can say this omelette was very good which was accompanied by homemade home fries with onions done german style. After eating the meal I felt full and a healthy full not like all those processed breakfast places like IHOP with there nasty nasty chemicals. The three of us all ate for a total of 20.41 total bill and that was with two coffees. I would definitely come back here and try more of there menu items that specialize in some interesting German menu items. The establisment is dated but maybe thats part of the appeal to this place that serves you quick and does not keep you waiting from my one visit there. Bravo guys and SYOY!!!

Quaint little restaurant. Great prices. Great food. Always love the mushroom schnitzel!! Service was ok... Happy they had sugar free pie for my diabetic father in law...the bread pudding was not my favorite..it had a weird texture.

5-Stars it is!! *…read moreCASH ONLY- they have ATM on premise but cash is king! * Make reservations- we had reservations for 7p- but moved it to 5p and glad we did- this little spot fills up fast *BYOB Hubby and I came here to see what all the rave reviews were about and were immediately greeted warmly and with a smile, seated and given menus with an explanation of the specials. We started off with appetizers- which are really great for sharing- perogies for the Hubby and I had the liver dumpling soup- both were fantastic. Hubby had the German mixed salad with his meal, the special was sausage with both chicken and pork Schnitzel and potatoes, I had the sauerbraten with potatoes and we both had a side of the sauerkraut. We took a To-Go of the stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach and soup, with broccoli and an order of perogies. 2 Root beers, and he had the apple strudel and I ordered the Bienenstich. Our server was Karen- I want to give a huge thank you to her, she was an absolute delight, sweet, friendly and made sure our dinner was perfect, she is wonderful and next time we come for dinner, we hope she is our waitress. Food was incredible, I have not had "family" style German food in probably 13 years if not longer- I used to eat all the time at Alpine Village in Torrance Ca and at Phoenix Club in Brea Ca- both I was a long time foodie at, and never had a bad meal! It is so great to know that Sebastian's is our new place for delicious German food. Dinner for the 3 was roughly $180.00, but before you say "that's a lot", the food is delicious, the wait staff is amazing and both my husband and I gladly pay good money for fantastic food, like what we had here at Sebastian's.

CASH ONLY CASH ONLY…read moreCASH ONLY CASH ONLY Did I mention CASH ONLY So we are thinking about getting Christmas Eve dinner catered from here, so we tried it out yesterday. There was a decent amount of confusion and dialect disconnect, but I believe they have most of their regular menu available. We also ordered a bunch of different items to taste test and we were extremely happy! Let me get into my issue... At no point until I walked into the restaurant, did they mention cash only, oh and check! They take checks! But they never list if on ther website, or any social media sites. They do not mention it over the phone either... so I walk in expecting to pay with card and wham. CASH ONLY... They do have an ATM on site, but to use it, you need an ATM card or a pin on your CC, which I did not have. My FiL had to meet me half way back with cash so I could pay. I really wish they post it online or somewhere people can see before walking in.... I had half a mind to cancel lol! Well that's my gripe! Ordering food, there was a slight language barrier as well. But all in all, it went OK. The lot needs better lighting and or a sign that points to the main entrance. We walked the wrong way and ended up at tables and chairs in storage.... It is very very very homey inside. Very homey. It feels like Oma's living room. With Hummel and biersteins everywhere, and it mean everywhere! Do not bring young kids here lol! It does look nice though! Must but nightmare to dust... Service is unique, the owner was trying to make small talk, and this is after my cash issue, I was kind of zoned out... also had 2 kids that were surprisingly behaving! I got super lucky with that lol! I was able to pay cash and he threw in a few items for free, he gave me a potato soup and a Rahm sauce. Brought the food home and feasted! I got the triple schnitzel combo with Veal, pork, chicken. All were delicious, I like the brown gravy (which had a nice tang) as well as the Rahm sauce with it. By itself it was good, I think they do it more Italian style with only breadcrumbs and no flour, but it was still good. The Veal was the best, but small! The other 2 were very good! I subbed mash for home fries which had sautéed onions and were a great touch, but it needed salt. The sauce helped! I also got a side or spaetzle, which were good but needed sauce and or salt, and did not have much seasoning. But that is German food... I'm not saying its bland, but its sauce heavy! Perogies were absolutely killer! I want a tray lol! Great filling, super soft, great taste! Wife and FiL had the chicken cordon blue, and they were huge!!! They were delicious, but even better with the Rahm sauce. I need a gallon of it lol! Wife liked the Red cabbage, I enjoyed it as well, great flavor. I personally like it sweeter. FiL had the mash and like it. I also got Linzer Tarts which disappeared very quickly lol! Everyone enjoyed them! All in all a great meal, I wish they'd let you know cash only... we look forward to getting catering on Christmas Eve!

She recommended the pierogies . We did get a plate of pierogies as an appetizer, and it was quite enjoyable . For an entrée, I got the Hühnerschnitzel. Chicken! It also came with some beautiful sauerkraut that was purple and quite beautiful. It also came with buttery spaetzle dumpling ! I could only eat half of it. It was quite delicious, but I had to save room for dessert too! I also enjoyed a cup of hot decaf coffee & the apple strudel for dessert and we split it. It seemed so perfect for this chilly evening!! Everything was absolutely wonderful and so charming and I would definitely come back. And if I had my ukulele, I'd write a song about it because it really was delightful.

The decor adds to the experience and reminds me of my almost decade of living in Germany and Austria. I enjoyed the free pretzel bites with house-made mustard (Senf). Owned and operated by Bavarian natives, the restaurant has been serving up authentic German/Bavarian food and culture since 1998! So this menu has a lot more than your typical German-American biergarten offerings. We went for a couple of their specialties - Sauerbraten (sour beef) and Goulash - which were both fantastic. My husband enjoyed a German beer (he always loves a German Hefeweizen), and I had Gluehwein (red wine served warming and steeped with warming spices). Everything tasted great, but it was also just a wonderful place to enjoy a meal: music (an accordionist played throughout our meal), children dancing to the music, classic German decor (including some Christmas touches), and great service! I'd be happy to return. In fact, I look forward to it!
