Haven't been here in a year although without a doubt it's worth the trip from anywhere. They always deliver a terrific experience, the food, the customer service, the ambience, the decor is on point and hard for other restaurants to keep to their standard. Even though they were busier than I've ever seen, they made accommodations to have my favorite waiter George serve our table at the time we came. Even though there is a COVID-19 time limit we were never rushed and were able to stay longer with no issues. The restaurant looked Magical at night and was decorated for Valentines Day. They served complimentary hot apple cider which goes great when sitting by the fire pit or numerous chimineas they have around the front of the restaurant. Our waiter George was on point and absolutely made the experience a great one. I cannot say enough nice things about him. For starters we had the chocolate martinis, the Erini salad and chili shrimp. For entrees the Surf and Turf special which was a 6 oz Filet Mignon, 6 oz Lobster tail and the ahi tuna with coconut rice, pineapple salsa, coconut rice, and carrots. For dinner I had rice pudding topped with whipped cream and Rishi orange passion tea which was also great. This place has 2 private rooms for a party of 8-12 or about 20. Beautiful grounds and it looks great all year round. Once again, I highly recommend them for an AWESOME experience. read more

Our first time dining at Erini. We arrived early & had drinks at the bar while we waited for friends. Service at the bar was slow, we were practically ignored trying to get the bartenders' attention. I ordered the Marshmallow Old Fashioned. The waitress brought out the drinks sans marshmallows. I mentioned to the waitress that I expected to see marshmallows with the drink. The waitress said it does come marshmallows but she was too busy to add them to the drink. Apparently she thought about what she said & came back & asked if I wanted the marshmallows. I said yes. Luckily I got them as marshmallows really give the drink its marshmallow flavor. Our friends met us at the bar & we went to our table. The waiter placed tickets on the table. I asked what the tickets were for. Our friends, who dine at Erini frequently, had pre-reserved 2lb lobsters for our group. But first appetizers. We shared the fried calamari which was flavorful & cooked to perfection. DH had the creamy potato soup with bacon. saying it was good but nothing special. The whole Lobsters came out on a plate sandwiched between green beans & potatoes. The lobster was easy to open and was deliciously fantastic! Cooked perfectly so not to be too chewy or too mushy. Drawn butter was provided. The green beans had just the right Al dente snap. The potatoes were a little under cooked and starchy. We ended the night with carrot cake. It was flavorful but not as moist as we'd like. Overall the calamari & lobster were the stars of the night. read more

This place has been on my list for quite some time. Every thing here was great. Loved the raw oysters. Olives were also good. Great atmosphere that was slightly more upscale and one feels more comfortable in a collared polo shirt and khakis then shorts or jeans. Server was attentive as well. read more

Feast access with plenty of parking. Very upscale and clean environment within the dining area. There are several areas within the restaurant which also includes a bar. There's also an outdoor dining section which includes a tiki bar and at night is lit (very nice). Service was very attentive and friendly. Quick response to all requests. Food prices were appropriate. Nice selection of food from the menu. I opted for the salmon salad which was very fresh and filling. I would absolutely recommend this place for a date night out but would highlight that it's probably nice to dine outside. read more

Service was excellent, they make it a point that you can ask anyone anything and are happy to assist. Risotto was meh, not flavorful. The canolli crust felt old. Red clams were the star of the night, I would had two orders of them along with bread and call it a night. read more

Stopped in for a drink and an an appetizer Fried Calamari. It sucked, more breading than Calamari. Literally, I left in the bottom of the dish about 10-20% of what was served. I'm guessing it was a frozen bag provided from a food vendor and not made in house. Its volume was also mixed with some peppers and onions, also breaded. Would not order that again. read more

Big and spacious restaurant with friendly staff. Very nice steaks. Crab cake was ok. Wouldn't describe this as Mediterranean in style of ambiance or what's typically called that. Nice meal though read more

I've heard so much about this place with their elegance & ambiance so I wanted to take my mom and my lady there for lunch. Our server Jade was very attentive, pleasant, and polite. What really put a damper on our experience was the wait time during what seemed to be a slow backend of the lunch hour. We waited over an hour for very basic entrees, which wasn't expected at all from an establishment like this, no one came to let us know what the hold up was or anything. I don't want to completely count out Erini so I'll give them another try. My burgers were suppose to be medium well temperature, they came out extra charred and really well done. The steak was supposed to be to medium and came out rare, we were definitely disappointed! read more

I always enjoy my visits to Erini. The ambience is always beautiful and the service is always excellent. My favorite things to order are the blood orange martini and the seafood risotto. In typical fashion, that is what I ordered last night. I tried a new item last night as well - the shrimp and lobster spring rolls. Super delicious and is a must-try with the sweet Thai chili sauce. I can't recommend this place enough. All the staff is friendly and there's even free valet. It's a local gem and hands down one of my favorite dinner spots in the area read more

This place is the whole vibe. They really do cover everything. So many cocktails, plenty of menu options, and great staff. Usually we stop in and are able to get a table without a reservation. The place is large. With rooms and patios to cover parties of all sizes. They put a lot of time and thought into the exteriors and gardening which is always a nice touch. At some times they even have complementary valet even though the restaurant is casual. Always recommend the chicken Marsala and the lollipop lamb chops! read more

The worst experience. Forget the best outdoor patio. When you are stuck by the door and all you can smell is cat piss. The food was horrendous. I still have a bad taste in my mouth. Bland - over cooked. Everything. The bread. The oil for the bread. The Caesar. If you can't get chicken parm right - you shouldn't be able to stay in business. And 30 dollars for it. Robbery. Stay away. I was lured in by the great out door seating spend your money else where!!! read more

The ambiance of the outdoor patio was nice. We went for an early dinner with another couple on a gorgeous evening and sitting outside was great. It was empty when we sat down but was packed by the time we left two and a half hours later. Our service was great! Raffaela was very accommodating. She walked us through questions, gave suggestions for food and drinks and seemed genuinely very nice. The food... eh. Our appetizers were tasty. We had the grilled octopus, the fried calamari, the lamb chops, and the shrimp cocktail, all of which were pretty delicious, especially the fried calamari. Our entrees were just okay... mostly because of the preparation, not the actual flavor. Two of us got the crab cakes, which were great but you could tell they were sitting out for a bit before they made it to our table. The mashed potatoes that came with the crab cakes had a crust on them from sitting out too long. The snow peas were cooked just right. My husband had the filet. He asked for medium and she specified it will be pink with a thin line of red. He said great. It came and it was pretty much well. Barely any pink at all. He never sends anything back so he ate it but was disappointed to spend so much money on a steak and it was mediocre at best. The last person has the bass fish special and said the pieces of fish were not meaty nice pieces but the overall flavor of the dish was pretty good. Drinks were good. We had about three each trying different ones and they were all decent. The desserts were not that great. The chocolate lava cake didn't have any 'lava', the crème brûlée didn't have any flavor but the lemon cheesecake was great. Overall, it was a nice night out with friends but don't know that we'll come back to eat again, possibly hang at the tiki bar for drinks. Our bill with tip was $540 but we all had drinks, apps, meals and three desserts so overall, not too crazy priced for what we got. Drinking and chatting too much and forgot to take pix of anything after our appetizers ‍ read more

Heavily overpriced restaurant. I ordered the Rose Fizz cocktail and couldn't drink it because there was too much lemon in it and it was horrible. We paid over $14 for that. I also ordered the crab cake with a side of mashed potatoes. The crab cake was extremely small and even the mashed potatoes was very small. The only nice thing was that we got steaming hot bread. There wasn't anything elegant about this restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else. It's highly overrated. read more

They have a secret vegan option. It's not on the menu, you have to ask for it. I will post a picture. I ordered the hummus platter minus the feta. To me the 'vegan' dish was just the hummus board chopped up in little pieces etc. All in all it was tasty. I liked the grape leaf wraps too (I'm sure there is another name for them). The ambiance is nice. You don't have to dress up but if you wanted to it would be suitable for this location. In the covid state they have indoor and outdoor dining options. The only reason I have to give this place 3 stars is because we had reservations but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated so that was a bummer. If that didn't happen another start would be there. Our waiter was kind and accommodating too. This would be a great venue for a party too. I saw two private dining options. read more

Several months ago, my wife and I were driving through Lambertville, NJ mid afternoon on a Saturday, looking for a good lunch place. Driving down River Road, we saw Erini's and decided to check it out. First, parking is ample and well-paved and the interior is beautifully designed. We were asked if we had reservations which we did not have. No problem. They found a nice table for us. Erini's caters to a middle class clientele and above and patrons dressed accordingly. I had the Beef Mushroom Swiss Burger and my wife had the Meatball Sandwich. Both were very delicious. Our server was nice and attentive and we had an overall positive and enjoyable experience. Bathrooms were also clean. However, I did observe one interesting situation at a nearby table of elderly ladies. One interrupted our server to order a chocolate martini while we were in the ordering process (I chalked it up to Jersey attitude, lol). When the drink arrived, the ladies were settling their check for payment. The woman poured her martini into a small thermos that was in her large tote bag and took it to go! I had never witnessed this before in my life at a restaurant! I brought it to the server's attention and asked if this was legal in NJ. I was assured it wasn't and that the woman had been warned twice about not doing it, but to no avail since she had hidden the thermos in her bag. LOL. Anyway, we hope to come back to Erini's the next time we are in the area. Great restaurant and well managed! read more

Went last night and have been going for years always for my mothers birthday. Everyone got something different (the menu dosent usually change much). I usually get the filet mignon, this time very bland, no spices as well as the chicken parm and lamb shank were eh. It's never been like that before. I feel like maybe a new chef? The steak was so bad it needed A1, and at that point I'm better off going to Outback or longhorn. Something was off. Service was great but they stuck us all the way in the back, in the corner when clearly someone in our party was disabled at the time. Only great thing was the desserts. Won't be back anytime soon... read more

Beautiful setting & a great outdoor tiki bar! Nice size portions but I would skip the pork chop. Enjoyed the salmon.

We recently enjoyed a lovely family dinner here. The atmosphere was really nice and laid-back, and the waitstaff were super attentive. They even helped us pick out some delicious dishes to try. My wife and I enjoyed the food and the outdoor atmosphere. Unfortunately it was all soured by the rude and horrible service. Our waitress was aloof and inattentive the entire time. We had to ask the bus boys for help, and the restaurant was nowhere near packed. But the nail in the coffin for us was that our waitress had the audacity to write us a message on our check! To put things in perspective, we asked for our check. She brought the check to us. We read the check, then got out our gift card we had & a credit card for the rest. She took the check and cards. When the check came back to us to sign she obnoxiously circled what the total was before the gift card was applied and labeled it "Total Bill, Thank You!". I'm not sure how else to take this other than she was trying to mitigate my wife and I possibly giving her a tip based off the total left after the gift card was applied. We are both 28 years old and celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary. This was our first time trying Erinie. We have dined out at plenty of other restaurants before this to know that a tip should be calculated based off the original total. But what kind of entitled women has the nerve to write this on our bill? I've never had this happen to me at a restaurant before! I've been a server before, tips are always appreciated, but never a given! You get what you put out! We asked to speak to the manager afterwards and he defended the waitresses actions and said she probably just wanted to make sure we knew how much the bill was, and then offered to reprint the receipt for us.... We're never going back to this place. You shouldn't bother with it either, there are plenty of better restaurants with better service to choose from. See a picture of the receipt attached. read more

We were very surprised to find that we were not impressed by this restaurant. It's so widely praised, we thought it would be impressive. We went for our anniversary, and honestly, we could have made the food better ourselves. Everything was underwhelming and mediocre. Nothing was inherently *bad*, but everything was simply so-so. Immediately upon entering, the place smells like old water. Our alcoholic beverages were pretty strong, but in a way that reminded us of a college bar, not an upscale restaurant. The chicken parm was not very good, the steak was ok, and the crab cake was eh. The best part was probably the French beans, sadly. Surprisingly, our water glasses once emptied, stayed empty, which is generally how we judge the service of a place. We've been to great restaurants, and one thing they always have in common is that our water glass is never fully empty. Also, once it was clear we were finished, it took nearly 20 minutes to receive the check, which in my book is not preferred. I'm all for the experience of things taking time, but once I'm ready to go, I don't want to have to wait for seemingly no reason. Maybe if everything cost us about half of what it did, it would have been more tolerable... but for the cost, we should have been licking our lips and rubbing our bellies as we left. To someone who might ask, would you recommend this place I say - eh! If you like a place that is underwhelming and makes you say eh, and is double the price you feel you should have paid, then go for it. But we likely wont be back (unless we want to check out the tiki bar.... dun dun dunnn). read more

We regularly go to ERINI. Usually sitting at the bar and always having dinner. This weekend we went and it was the first time I was truly disappointed. We got mussels-white as an appetizer and both servings were watered down, while the mussels themselves were tender, there was absolutely no flavor to the accompanying broth. We often get this item so we figured it was a fluke and didn't complain. We both opted for the special dinner; a seafood paella. And it was also sooooo disappointing. An extremely small portion with accompanying clams that were the size of my palm...all four of the clams were incredibly tough and inedible on BOTH plates, no amount of gnawing could make those go down. I ended up leaving them on my plate after attempting to chew each one. The shrimp in this plate were also very small and mediocre. I didn't detect any sausages and only a few small bites of dried chicken. It did have nice flavor but 42$ for a tiny bowl of spicy rice is frustrating, to say the least. I post this on hopes that it's a new chef, and some constructive criticism can hit the mark. With drinks dessert & tip we spent close to $300. I rarely send food back, and never ask for a refund. With increased prices everywhere we are becoming more discretionary in our restaurant choices. Will give you one more try but after this unacceptable experience ....too many options available in area. read more

Front of house is a mess. I tried to check in for my reservation but was told someone had already checked in as me? After a bit of a wait, I was then seated at a table near the entrance which did not work for my party. There were countless open tables but they insisted that was our only option. I have hosted before, I understand not wanting to over-seat a server, but this was so amateur and beyond unprofessional to tell me this was the reason. The three hosts were incredibly unprofessional and just plain rude - they couldn't figure anything out. It was not an overly busy night at all, just a really disorganized host stand. Once seated our waitress was lovely and food and drinks were good. I would suggest sitting outside, inside is dated and honestly a little smelly. read more

As far as restaurants go, it falls into our, "It was fine... but we don't need to go back" category. As soon as we saw the menu, we knew we weren't in for a great meal, based solely on the fact that they offer 15 different apps. One rule of dining we've discovered to be true; if they have a ton of options, none of them are great. We started with the fried calamari, which felt "barely fried". Although the taste was nice, it was one of the least crispy fried calamari dishes we've ever had. I had the 12oz NY Strip ($50) and my wife had the lamb shank. The steak was fine, but didn't taste like a $50 steak. Similarly, my wife enjoyed her lamb shank, but after her first bite, she was quick to point out it's not as good as the one she makes. With a round of drinks and tip, it was $150. The service was excellent, the ambience was a bit lackluster. Again, a decent meal, but no need to go back. read more

We came on a Sunday evening for dinner. The front of house staff didn't seem all that interested when we told them we had reservations and gave our name. We had to wait almost 20 minutes to have anyone come to our table. The wait staff service was almost nonexistent although the runner and busboy were very nice. The waitress didn't come to check on us a single time so the restaurant lost out on selling a few extra glasses of wine. The mango and beet salad was very good. The one person got filet mignon and it was charred too much on the crust. The salmon was just 'ok' and the stuffed shrimp was not worth ordering. None of the food was specifically bad but it was just ok. Waitress finally came back for the dessert order. All in all, a very disappointing meal, poor service and I don't think I need to bother ever coming back here. read more

Finally got to visit Erini for the first time. The restaurant is so nice and the outdoor area is beautiful, great for a summer dinner! The tiki bar was fun, and I could see that being a great place for drinks as well. There are fans outside too which help with the hot weather. I ordered a mango madness martini, and it was SO good! I highly recommend, sweet and summery! (I ended up getting 2) We started with calamari and oysters, and enjoyed both appetizers. The calamari came with a chili sauce which I loved. For dinner I had the 10oz filet and my boyfriend ordered the land & sea. The crab cake was very good. My girlfriends and I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident since the original plan didn't pant out, and what a nice surprise. Half of us was seafood lover and half of us allergic, so Erini has a big task at hands. Our first impression was wow this restaurant is huge, the parking lot looks like it's for a hotel and not a restaurant, and it was packed, that says something about where the local goes for a Friday night dining. For apps, we got the grilled octopus, lamb lollipops, and calamari. I don't typically eat lamb but my three gfs said they were amazing. The octopus was so impressively tender, as soon as I put my fork into it, I knew the chef knows what he's doing (we later chatted with the waiter and found out that erini is a Greek own restaurant). No wonder why their seafoods were treated with so much love. For main course, I got blacken ahi tuna with coconut rice. The ahi tuna was so delicious, rice was okay (flavor was good but the grain is not high quality jasmine rice - and since the chef goes for coconut rice and bok Choy asian flare to pair with the ahi tuna, I felt like he should owe it to the cuisine and do high end jasmine rice or Japanese white rice). It was not a huge turn off, just because I'm super picky about rice Still give this restaurant 5-star since it's on the pricier side but didn't feel stuffy.
