My aunt also goes to her. My mom, my uncle, friends go to this salon. My mom goes to Kelley. My sister uses the barber there, because she likes super short hair cuts with those barber design stuff. He does a great job! I love Erin and Kelley! Recently, I gave Erin the adventure she has been dying for since she met my hair.... and that is to do something other than cut it... That's right.... I had a very positive experience today at Erin Kelley Salon! Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming. I had my hair shampooed and conditioned by a lovely young lady named Mel. It was literally the most thorough, enjoyable shampoo and conditioning I ever had in my life! Then I had the pleasure of having Maressa cut my hair. She is a ray of bright light! And I absolutely LOVE the cut! It's the best cut I've had in a very long time. She really took time to ask me how I wanted my hair cut and listened very carefully making sure she knew exactly what I wanted. Then she executed it beautifully! Very open salon. Front desk gal's mask wasn't covering her face. Really!? Stylist gave me a haircut that wasn't even, so I had to go back. I could tell she was annoyed with me. Really!? Stylist didn't ask me what color I wanted. I showed her photos but that's not why I got. She did what she wanted & I don't love it. Stylist forgot to tell me that the color she applied might bleed onto clothing and in the floridA heat I was sweating and ruined white garments. She suggested I buy new expensive hair shampoo too. I don't like giving negative reviews, especially when the people are nice and friendly. But, I gotta do this to save someone their time and from spending way too much money at a salon where not all of the stylists are well-seasoned. I recently moved to the area. I hadn't done anything to my hair in over 9 months. I wanted a hair cut but to still have long hair. Alicia was my stylist and literally CHOPPED my hair making it look like rows of random layers. The hair cut just didn't look right. So, I went to another salon and they said it was "butchered". I'm so glad I grew my hair out for 9 months to have to grow it out again bc Alicia cut the layers way too short even when I specified "LONG layers." So, why 2 stars? First, the salon is nice and clean. Second, because one star is just sad and Alicia is nice... she just had no clue how to cut hair. read more
