I worked with debra and was disappointed. I came in for a balayage appointment, ready to finally invest in my hair properly, and was not really understood / listened to by Debra. Then she just mixed color + washed and we didn't get the color right. She did the right color a second time and then charged me for 2 coloring jobs. I was passing through Boca Raton during some international travel and I was in real need of getting my roots touched up. I only had one day to schedule an appt and I was trying to do coordinate this while in Europe. I only had the option of email or Whatsapp to schedule an appt. After contacting a few salons that I felt could give me the service I was looking for, only Salon Edge got back to me immediately through email. I was able to schedule an appointment very easily. I had my color done by Gemma and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and cared about giving me the look I wanted. She suggested a slightly different color I had done in the past and I absolutely loved how it turned out. My friend recommended that I go here for my color. I am always in search of a good colorist in the Boca area. I made an appt with Marcus! When I walked in however, the receptionists were too busy doing I don't know what. (that's why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5). Eventually, they got to me and told me to go get a robe and go to Marcus' station. Having never been there before, I didn't know where anything was . So I wandered around and the owner - Ramona stopped me and helped me. I went to sit in Marcus' chair and we talked about my color. I really liked what he did for me and I will be back. However, I think they should follow up with you to see how you liked your service. You could text or call and encourage people to return to the salon. I even talked about this to Marcus. You want to make people feel welcome in your salon. I was giving them a. lot of marketing ideas so I hope they use them! Finding a new hairdresser can be daunting. So many what if's and variables on price, atmosphere and most of all enjoying your look. Earlier this year my hair just wasn't coming out as good with the stylist I had been using for years. I was going through a bit of personal transition and I was complaining to my coworker how I wanted a new look and needed to find a new hairdresser. She immediately told me to call salon edge and schedule an appt with Amanda and Cat. That was in March and after several visits it's safe to say they are stuck with me. Amanda is the colorist. She had the job getting the brassy yellow out of my hair and turn the blonde up a notch with more of a white platinum undertones. It took a couple visits to get it completely out but after the first color with her my hair looked amazingly better. She's super sweet and is always wearing a cute hat or hair accessory. Cat is the hair stylist doing the cut and blowout. What I love about her is she keeps it real. The first time I sat in her chair I asked her opinion on me getting bangs and she basically said "how are you with committing to style your hair everyday" and I thought about it and sometimes you just wanna throw that thing up in a pony and live. My first visit she took a significant amount of hair off (about 4 inches). She always does a great job on my cut and style offering to either striaghten it or curl it before I leave. Everytime I call to schedule an appt with them it can be slightly challenging since it's 2 of them, but every single time they always figure it out. Cat has even stayed late on two different occasions so I can my hair done. Although the price is higher than the place I used to go to my hair looks way better and the fact that they are so accommodating speaks volumes. read more

Doing an updated review: The manager reached out and offered to fix the issue. She recommended I have my hair done with Gemma. Im not one to converse in salons, I usually feel awkward, but Gemma had me giving her my life story, lol. Shes extremely personable and sweet. She listened to exactly what I wanted, fixed the problem and got my hair exactly where I would like it to be. I took my wife and daughter here and its fake, botox filled, probably illegal services place. They did a shabby job on my daughter's hair a day before her prom but what ticked me off the most as a dad was the woman doing her brows, probably the owner, not sure, was raving to my 17 year old about her weight-loss injections she takes at the salon and how it has triggered her brain to stop eating. Our daughter told us this later. Service was provided based on who gets the most botox. They have multiple rooms where women get out looking like a puffer fish. read more

I loved my last visit to Salon Edge I was introduce to Lisa to do my highlights, and besides being a lovely person, I absolutely love her work!. My hair is very thick and my color was HORRIBLE and this is the first time it feels healthy even after the highlighting process. LISA also gave me the perfect cool blonde tone that I always wanted to achieve. I got highlighted by other colorists, my hair turned out looking sort of brassy, with a yellow-orange tone. There is so much I could say about how much I truly enjoy going to Salon Edge. For starters, Theresa provides the best eyebrow wax. She takes her time, really listens to your needs and is always so nice. For hair, Lisa is the absolute best. I saw her for a haircut, color and blow dry and it looks absolutely amazing. She took her time to figure out what exactly needed to be done and did not once make me feel like she was in a rush to get me out the door. I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding at Salon Edge, based on a recommendation from a friend. I'm so glad that I did! Lindsay, who did my hair, was absolutely adorable. We chatted the whole time and my hair was PERFECT. Seriously. PERFECT. And it lasted all night, both inside and outside... which is a feat for South Florida. Jeri did my makeup, and being that her specialty is eyebrows, she fixed mine up a bit too. No small deal, since this was the DAY of my wedding. But they were perfectly shaped and my face wasn't a smidge of red. The makeup was absolutely perfect. I told her a bit about my dress, (Sapphire blue and "Grecian" in style!) and she matched it perfectly, actually listening to my desire to have a "light, natural" look! I had gone to another salon to get my color done but apparently the stylist was drunk because she made me look like a zebra (she made highlights even tho I had Ombré and it was literally black/white).
