I had been struggling with unwanted reddish tones in my hair, and she was able to completely correct it and give me the most beautiful, natural brown color I was hoping for. It looks so much more even, soft, and natural--exactly what I wanted. What I appreciated most is her attention to detail and honesty. She truly cares about the outcome and what will look best on you, not just rushing through the process. I left feeling so much more confident and put together. I have long fairly blonde hair. Got highlights, root tap and haircut. Haircut was fine but I wasn't able to get as much cut off as I wanted as the appointment ran long and everyone else at the salon had left. I also had to stand for a good portion of the cut which was a first for me. I didn't particularly enjoy that. Highlights look fine as well but were not what I asked for - I wanted to be noticeably blonder. Showed inspo pics and we got going. You can hardly tell I lightened my hair and I didn't like the way the foils were done (no front section so my part is a little more streaky than I would prefer) I expected the price to be closer to $350-$400 due to the pricing on their website but ended up closer to 500 but was given a 10% discount. I was asked to pay while getting my hair cut so front desk staff could leave but in the rush was not given a breakdown. Overall for the price and the end result I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I just had the best experience at salon sima, my hairdresser was named Karina and I wanted to go dark and when done she allowed me to go darker because she saw my disappointed facial expression and wow I walked out with my desired color, pink hair extensions !!!!!! I was there a little longer thank expected but wow I love to see a clean bathroom. It did not bother me to wait in my car but my temperature was taken when I was greeted by the friendly staff. Salon Sima is wonderful! I had a bad color job and extensions and I came into the salon and was greeted kindly and warmly. The entire staff was so excellent. Sima took the time to color my hair to perfection giving me fresh powder blonde highlights and switching up my base color, and Mindy ordered and redid all my extensions with hotheads, the color matching to perfection with Sima's terrific color work. She made them look so natural even my own family couldn't tell the difference between my own hair and the extension. I can't say enough kind things and they literally made me feel like a million bucks. Oh, and did I mention they did all of this (including ordering all my new extensions) 36 hours after I walked in. Inly go there if you want to be a blonde. I got a great haircut with Mindy .... But when I explained the highlights Sima did what she wanted. Came back the next day and showed her pictures... She said I will not do that color!!!! Did what she wanted. Hated it .... asked for refund and they said no refunds. So if you have dark hair I don't recommend this salon. Very nice people but as far as color for brunettes I wouldn't go there. Also the eyebrow lady told me to either do mircroblading or get Botox because my eye brow shape makes me look sad. ???????? read more

Terrible! At first I thought I had found a golden spot considering Salon Sima was open on Sundays, my only day off. Boy was I wrong. I was told it would be one price over the phone and then I over heard the owner telling the hair stylist to charge me more bc my hair was too kinky. She then started arguing with the stylist for no apparent reason right in front of me. When I called to make another appointment she tried taking my business by telling me the stylist wasn't working when I told her that the hair stylist was the one that told me she was free to call and book it, she went on a ridiculous rant about me abusing her employee and trying to get free services. She is a total nut case and I'm surprised this place is still up and running. Run! read more

Joann did a perm for me back in 2016 and I should have stayed with her. My previous hairdresser convince me to go back to him. Well after continuously getting my hair fried, bad haircuts, color, price etc. I had to walk away. Went back to Joann (my hair Angel) & will never look back.she did an amazing job. My hair is fine, don't have a lot, plus the damages. She's a perfectionist who doesn't let me leave the salon until my color looks just the way she intended it to be. Mindy takes care of my cut and also does a fantastic job. She listens to my requests and concerns and always asks how my hair has behaved since my last cut. Salon Sima is the best Salon in Boca! Not only is Sima a master colorist but her and everyone who works for her is friendly and caring the moment you walk into the salon. I was reffered to Sima for color correction. I had several shades of brown (some areas darker than others). I wanted to go back to blonde.
