She blended my color exceptionally well and my cut was done with precision and skill. I loved my blowout too! Had color done recently. Specifically stated I didn't want orange/brassy highlights numerous times , even showed picture of what I wanted. What did I get ? Highlights what have wayyy more of an orange hue to them. WHY GOD WHY? A couple of pieces are so brassy that I almost want to dye my hair back all dark. Reached out to the stylist afterwards, and she didn't make much effort to correct or seem very concerned. I (or probably most people) don't have time to go back for color corrections - why can't it be done right the first time ! It wasn't cheap either ! This stylist is totally overhyped- I expected wayyyy more from her. Will not be going back and do not recommend this place. read more

Update (12-31--09): TJ (the hair stylist I highly recommend) no longer works here. He is now at Sky Salon and Spa in Boca. Go to TJ! He's really talented. This place came recommended to me by a friend. TSalon Edge is: 1) trendy and upscale, if you're in to that sort of thing (i.e. they have valet for your flashy boca car) 2) down to earth, as was evidenced by the stylists there, and particularly by TJ, who was funny and nice, and not stuck up or rude 3) reasonably priced for the apparent miracles they can perform (website says $65-$85 for haircuts with wash) 4) really pretty (big floor to ceiling windows all around) I'd probably have some negatives if I hadn't been so distracted by how good my hair came out, which I suppose is a good thing. This is a great salon! So far I have tried the massages and facials! Alisha Schwartz is the amazing Massage Therapist at Salon Edge. She uses an avant-garde tool called the Fascia Blaster, which restores healthy fascia, reduces cellulite, improves muscle performance, nerve activity and circulation, reduces pain, improves scoliosis and more. She is sculpting my body, seriously better than lipo suction, and helping my teenage son with scoliosis and tendinosis in his shoulder! Alisha is knowledgeable and a true expert of the Fascia Blaster techniques. She has about 20 years of experience as a Massage Therapist. I am so excited to say that I have found an amazing nail tech near home! Pri does a fantastic job and is very detailed in everything she does. I have been going to both Amy(of the salon owners I believe) for cutting and Tawna for coloring for years. I have followed them both around. Amy is like a living Edward Scissorhands. I have thick curly hair that I get the Brazilian done on and she cuts my hair better anyone ever has. My haircut always trendy, falls beautifully and grows out very nice. I have sent so many people to her and they all get the same result. Tawna--what can I say. She is a genius when it comes to hair color especially highlighting and blondes. She always listens to what I want and delivers 10 fold. I always get compliments on my color because it looks like the sun lightened it. She will point me in the right direction when I show her a photo of a color that I want but doesn't think goes with my complexion. overall, the salon is great. I got tape in extensions done by yasmine.. and I was very nervous to get them in. (Never had extensions before, so I was scared it was going to look terrible) my hair is super short, above my shoulders and she blended my hair with the extensions so well.. He was professional and explained every step we were going to take to correct what had been done to my hair. It came out better than I could have asked for! She instinctively knows how your hair should look, what pieces should fall where, what cut enhances the shape of your face.....I could go on and an on but suffice to say she is truly talented. I LOVE SALON EDGE! I have been going to this salon for over 5 years! I get my hair cut with Lindsey who always does a phenomenal job! But not just Lindsey, the staff is incredible! You can usually see the owner (Kerri) either at the front desk greeting and taking calls or walking around the salon making sure everyone is having a great experience. I now live in NYC and I won't let anyone come near my head with a pair of scissors unless its Lindsey. Whenever I fly home I make it a point to go to the salon for a my cut and dry. I also get my eyebrows done at the Salon, Jerry is an eyebrow Guru! i have been a client at this salon for over a year. i followed a stylist from another salon because they had been let go...never had an issue until my last visit. my stylist had promised me to trim my extensions and look at my end to see if they needed trimmed as well. as i was sitting under the dryer i used my vape and a client sitting all the way across the room screamed at me and said " dont you ever do that around me again!" i apologized and let my stylist know the situation and asked if i could just get moved to another dryer, considering the other cleint wasnt even uner a dryer! immediately after that my stylist's personality completely changed! she had told me she no longer had time to trim my extensions and look at my ends. she pushed me off to a girl who washes hair. she even had the assitant put on my toner! my stylist didnt even check my color! for over $200.00 service i left the salon with a wet unbrushed head! i just called to schedule a haircut with her and the receptionist is telling me my stylist is planning "a long trip" and doesn't know her availabilty! i asked the receptionist is she could book me with anyoneand was told i would have to get a call back! i left the salon last saturday in tears in disbelief of how coldly i was treated. i have spent thousands of dollars on extensions with this stylist and have been treated like horribly and this is completly unprofessional. this has never happened to me ever in my entire life! how could the owner allow this level of unprofessionalism. NOW I GET A TEXT FROM MY STYLIST SAYING WE ARE NO LONGER A GOD FIT AND SHE WONT EVEN RECOMMEND ANOTHER STYLIST THERE! read more

I am giving this 1 star because I have to, deserves minus 10. Why, a dye job you can fix but with a bad cut you can't paste your hair back on. My 1 time cut wth Amy was horrific, I stated at least 3 times it looked uneven and she said it was because of my shirt. Shame on her. I went back on sunday to get it fixed and the person just evened it out quickly i then see she and their website lists her as a colorist I then called Amy on tuesday could not care less hung up on me Shame on her. Also late to my appt and seemed very discombobulated and rushed. I had it fixed this morning beautiful but short. I went in for a cut and waxing. The cut was average. However, I was really disappointed with my eyebrow shaping by Jeri. It hurt like hell and I was not pleased with how they turned out Hence, I don't recommend you getting them done by Jeri at all. Marques is THE BEST colorist in all of Florida. I have followed him from one salon to the next and would travel if needed to get quality color.
