Beyond 5 Stars - A Review for Eric Pardie and His Girlfriend That Needs to Be Heard
I don't normally leave long reviews, but what Eric Pardie and his girlfriend did for me and my partner isn't something you just leave a five-star rating for and move on. This wasn't a typical roadside assistance situation. This was something that went beyond professionalism. This was about humanity.
We broke down in the dead of night--2 a.m.--on the side of the road at the U.S.-Mexico border, exhausted, disoriented, and vulnerable. Not only were we far from home with a completely dead vehicle, but we had our sick dog with us, who was already going through a rough time. We had no backup plan. AAA and the usual towing companies wouldn't come that far or were quoting outrageous prices we couldn't afford. We were stuck, and the stress was overwhelming.
That's when Eric and his girlfriend came through for us like a miracle.
No hesitation. No questions. No attitude. They drove out in the middle of the night, showed up with warmth, understanding, and a total lack of ego. They didn't make us feel stupid for getting into the situation. They didn't take advantage of our vulnerability. They were just real, compassionate people who genuinely wanted to help.
And not just help a little--they towed us all the way from the U.S.-Mexico border to LOS ANGELES. That's a huge trip. And they didn't make it about the money. They didn't make it transactional. They were kind, honest, and patient the entire way. Eric talked to us like old friends. His girlfriend helped keep things calm and supportive, even comforting our dog during the ride. These are people with heart. You can't fake that.
Now here's the part I feel like I really need to say: if you're seeing negative reviews about Eric and his girlfriend--don't let those define your opinion. Seriously. A lot of those reviews are either exaggerated, written by bitter people with personal agendas, or just plain dishonest. They don't match the reality of what we experienced. Some folks just love to tear others down when they see someone actually trying to do good in the world.
From what I saw, Eric and his girlfriend are out here helping people in situations that others would either avoid or exploit. They're not flashy, they're not trying to sell you some polished corporate image--they're just trying to be there for people when no one else will.
They helped us through one of the worst nights we've had in a long time. Not just by towing our car, but by reminding us that there are still genuinely good people out there. When we needed help most--they came through. And I won't forget that.
So here it is, from someone who's lived through it:
If you need real help from real people--people who actually care--go with Eric Pardie and his girlfriend. They're not just reliable. They're good people. And that matters way more than any fake 1-star review from someone who clearly doesn't get it.
Thank you, Eric. Thank you to your girlfriend. You didn't just tow our vehicle. You restored our faith in others that night. And we'll always remember that. read more
