This place has the worst customer service. The woman who sits at the front desk with the red hair (supposedly the owner's sister) is just plain rude and unprofessional. Went in to have cloth seats replaced with leather. They incorrectly placed the order, and then installed the incorrect seats without even giving me the courtesy of a phone call to ask if it would be ok. Overall very disappointing because I trusted them to install what I paid for. When I expressed my disappointment, instead of being apologetic, the woman at the front desk yelled at ME for THEIR mistake. I would never give this place my business again, nor would I recommend them to anyone based on this experience. read more

This place has been around for a long time. The always try to accommodate you with whatever you want to do to customize your ride. They give you full cost estimates and are always very close to that. They make recommendations that will be even better and less expensive than what you expect. This is a first class company. I have been a parts consultant for GM dealers for years, so I was familiar with Erickson Auto Trim from convertible tops, sun roofs, and leather interiors and it appeared to be quality work. So when I purchased my 2010 Camaro SS 1LT I really wanted a sunroof in it. I did some internet investigating and because the roof panel without factory sunroof has grooves on the panel it does not provide a completely flat area for the sunroof it sit, for this reason all the forums said not to do it because of leak and cosmetic reasons. I really wanted a sunroof and I trusted Erickson's, so I called them up and they said no problem Webasco makes a sunroof designed for that roof and they ordered it for me. They called me when it came in and I dropped my car off for a few days. They did an absolutely fantastic job, it is two years old now with no problem at all. I really like the fact that the sunroof glass hides under the headliner unlike the factory unit that goes up and outside the roof. The car will soon be going back in for leather seats (I can't wait). I also just called them to do a sunroof in a 1989 Camaro RS unfortunately they told me at this time there is not one available at this time that will fit that roof, and although my wife is disappointed, I appreciate their honesty and integrity that they are not the type to just try to make something work for a buck! The only reason I am giving this place three starts is because the tint they did actually turned out real well. However the customers service there is horrible and I would give 0 stars if I could on there customer service. I dropped my car off on Thursday for my appointment Friday morning. I asked to have my back and front windows tinted. They call me Friday afternoon saying there tinter went home early so I could not pick me car up until Monday. This was very inconvenient and unprofessional. The second thing to piss me off, I showed them on my other car the exact tint I wanted obviously lower than 20%, instead of telling me they can't do this and don't offer it, they tell me that they can do it. When I went to pick up my car Monday, the front windows were not tinted and the back windows were no where near as dark as I told them I wanted. When I confronted the front desk, they really didn't care that I wasn't happy and wouldn't do anything about it, that I should of known they didn't do anything lower than 20% even though they told me they could do what I asked for originally. I then asked why my front weren't tinted, they replied with they didn't know I wanted it, even though again, I asked for these to be done. I said well I want it done, they said I could pick my car up the following day with it done. I picked my car up Tuesday, the tint looked to be done well, and has cured nicely from what I can tell so far. So this place tints well, but they don't listen to what you want and don't really care. For $350, I expected a place to do what I asked for or to at least be honest with me upfront and tell me they are not able to do it. Very disappointed. read more

Had my 2 front windows tinted on my truck. The person who did theb tint damaged my window switch cover with some white residue drops which the manager Tom says was baby shampoo. We tried several times to remove the drops to evail. Manager Tom was rude, disrespectful, argumentative and yelling at me thar they didnt cause the stains. He told me it was different things that caused the stains which of none were true. The owner Kelly was no help after I contacted him regarding the issue and how his Manager treated me. Kelly told me to bring the truck in today to get the right side window retinted as there are some flaws in it. As soon as I walked in the door at the Manager Tom was very rude and defensive. When I asked to speak to the owner Kelly he went in the back to get him and then came back slammed the key in my face on the counter and told me I need to come back at 1 when Kelly was there. A huge argument ensued and he ended up calling the police on me. When I was there I asked him to contact the manager Kelly about my appointment and he said he wouldn't call him but as soon as I left he called him to tell him what happened and then called me back and said that I can come get a refund for my tent that they don't want to deal with me. I've always gotten my tent at Erickson on all of my vehicles and I've never in my life had an experience like this. If this is how the manager Tom handles the customers Kelly will be out of business before he knows it. I do not recommend using Erickson Auto Trim for your car needs. read more
