When booking a couples massage the receptionist was able to look at multiple dates, times and therapists. I can not rave enough about how amazing my massage with Alfonso. He checked in multiple times through the hour about pressure and speed. His hands are like magic melting down knots and stress. He has a little hot towel on the back surprise right at the beginning which really helps so much with loosening up muscles. What a great idea! He was so calm and reassuring the entire time. It's too bad this is so far from me, or else I'd be back every week!

Extremely disappointing experience -- over $2,000 charged with no fair resolution…read more I am deeply disappointed with our experience with Elements Massage in Avon, CT. We moved to Seattle over a year ago, but our HSA account was unknowingly being charged automatically for our membership, accumulating over $2,000 in charges. When we discovered this, we reached out to the Avon location to resolve the issue. Initially, we were assured that our accumulated sessions could be credited and redeemed at any Elements Massage location nationwide. Relying on that statement, we attempted to book sessions at the Bellevue, WA location, but they refused to honor them. When we contacted the Avon studio again, the response was frustrating and dismissive. While the owner eventually offered to credit just 4 classes, they refused to honor or refund the remaining balance of the roughly 25 accumulated sessions we paid for. To make matters worse, our attempts to follow up further have resulted in disconnected calls, leaving us with no reasonable way to resolve a significant financial dispute. We are not asking for free services; we are simply seeking a fair resolution for over $2,000 automatically billed to our HSA while living thousands of miles away. We are formally requesting a complete accounting of all charges, an explanation of the continued billing after our move, and a fair remedy for the full balance of paid, unused sessions. If this cannot be resolved directly, we will take the necessary formal and legal steps to recover our funds. Please closely monitor your account and recurring HSA charges if you hold a membership here, and ensure any verbal promises regarding transfers or session roll-overs are documented in writing.

It's very small and quaint, with just two rooms inside of a strip of offices. They were very nice, and it was relaxing. For $100ish + tip, it wasn't bad - but it also wasn't the best massage I ever had. I would advise people against the sugar scrub. It's an extra $15 PER person, which was not clear to us at the beginning, and it's just an off brand sugar scrub, nothing special, that they only scrub onto your back. I was under the impression it would be the whole body, but I also didn't ask for clarification. So you pay $15 for 1/20th of probably a $6 bottle of sugar scrub.

The owners are outstanding and very personable. I already understand the benefits of massage therapy very well but they are very knowledgeable and informative about any concerns you may have. If your body conscious also their very professional. The room setting was very clean and comfortable Oh! and let me tell you about the bed warmers. I'm also pretty sure I want a Google Home now too :). Maelynn and Eric were such a pleasure! They also gave great advice on how to improve any concerns. Compliments to Eric and Maelynn. In addition after we left we both agreed we felt like we could breathe better! I also had much less shoulder pain when sitting down to dinner. Furthermore I was told the deal we used was through Groupon which is a great savings! They offer a lot of different services so I will definitely schedule another appointment. I would highly recommend!

I was skeptical at first--the outside gave off more nail salon vibes than high-end spa. Once inside, the massage rooms are simple, with walls that don't go all the way up and curtains separating the spaces, so you can hear what's going on around you. I laid on the table thinking, "What did I get myself into?" But let me tell you--this was the BEST massage I've ever had. I've been to spas all over the world, spent top dollar on deep tissue massages, and this guy blew them all away. His technique was absolutely perfect. I was zoned out, relaxed, and left feeling incredible. He even healed a pain I'd had in my back for two years. I went back again today, got in right away, and the second massage was even better. Now that I wasn't on edge, I noticed how clean and well-kept everything is. It's basic, but spotless--and that matters most to me. Also? $65 for 60 minutes. Insane. Leave a fat tip--they deserve it. And the hot stones? 10,000/10.

I hate to have to write this review as i have been a health and wellness customer of many…read moreestablishments over the years and tried earnestly to communicate with the staff att Soma to give feedback who became defensive and unpleasant. I booked a massage online using their system and received a confirmation of my booking after I placed my credit card. When I arrived (40 minute drive from my home), there was no available therapist. I was told that the spa was changing online booking systems and that they were sorry and that the therapist was probably sick. They did try to call to find someone last minute and offered me a 50% discount on my next massage which was very generous. So, I tried again to book a service the next day, received a confirmation and decided to call the number online to double confirm so as not to end up in the same situation. I did so 2 days in a row and even sent a text via a chatbot and never heard back. I decided to try calling the chatbot number and someone answered. She confirmed my appointment and then proceeded to ask me if I would be willing to change my service booking since the therapist usually doesn't like doing multiple services if they take 3 hours. I asked if the therapists communicate their preferences so that customers can't book something which cannot be performed. The receptionist started to get defensive and asked if I knew that 3 hours was a long time to book services for. I then asked her if I could give her some constructive feedback: that I found it very difficult to communicate with Soma and effectively book services-something I've done online hundreds of times over the years with different businesses. Surprisingly, she felt the need to announce that she would cancel my appointment and tried to hang up on me. I was able to get her to hear me in my request that my feedback simply be fed up to the management, but I experienced her as persistent in her "not my problem or responsibility" message. I told her that as a receptionist, she is the outward face of her company even if she isn't the owner or therapist. Overall an incredibly unprofessional experience. I will not return and will warn friends against Soma. There are so many wonderful businesses with excellent customer service in the area which I would encourage people to patron.
