Had a great experience with Ergeon from beginning to end. Carol had stayed in constant communication to ensure we were set up to move on to the next step in the process. Denisse was assigned as our Project Manager and she did an excellent job staying in communication and ensuring our needs were met with little room for error. Our installation team of 2-5 people at a time was headed by Juan who was very friendly and his team worked quickly to get our near 100 feet of fence and gate put up in less than a day and a half. The craftsmanship was good but I did overlook the detail in the quote stating the materials used were "as is". I did not realize the wood would be rough and unsanded. The gate is also nicely constructed but there are gaps between the planks that make it easy to see into the yard which I did not think would happen. I also did not notice until the day after. In terms of cleanliness, I did have to go back over the work area with a leaf blower to get the saw dust, wood chips/pieces, and other debris cleared out but that was not a huge issue. For the price, I understand that the cost of lumber had gone up and with other supply shortages it was not going to be a bargain. However, after consulting with the man who had previously worked on a couple fence lines I was aware of, it quickly became clear that there was not going to be much room for savings by going the unlicensed/warranty-less route. At least with Ergeon, the posts are guaranteed for seven years and the craftsmanship is good for one year. Overall, I think it was a really good experience especially since the last wind storm of 2021 had left us without a fence for nearly two years. Contract process went smoothly. Although, discussed terms were not followed at time of install. My Project Manager, Jose, was not very communicative. Never forward with information but generally responded promptly when I asked questions. He tried to schedule things last minute a couple of time. Finally had to give in and rearrange my schedule since he didn't seem to be able (willing?) to set an actual install date. If I had one negative thing to say is that Ergeon did not do any physical work on my complete fence replacement. They sub-contracted the project out to another provider. Wasn't terribly pleased with this as it was never discussed but I didn't have a choice in the matter. The company that did come out and actually do the whole project will be getting a phenomenal Yelp review on their page. They came in and did 200' of fence with 2 new 4' gates in less than 2 days. Initially I was dreading the whole process - but was more than pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. Update to original review. After posted the review I received an email from the PM. She asked for pictures of the issues and was very quick to reply and agree we needed to fix the situation. We worked over a couple weeks to get a crew scheduled to come out. They came out yesterday and were professional and courteous and took care of the problem. Used this company for two fences: one, fall 2023; the other this July, 2024. Both experiences were great: very quick process from initial call to quote to PGE OKs to installation. They always show up when scheduled and do the work exactly when they've promised to. For both of our fences, the crew had to work around extreme weather ("environmental river" coming in in the fall; excessive heat this July), and they delivered first class work exactly on time. I recently had a new fence with two gates constructed. This was my first big project after my husband passed away and I was quite nervous. I was treated respectfully and courteously throughout the entire process. The quote was quite reasonable and the time line for installation was very good.I would suggest expressing to the actual workers any special requests you make beyond a basic fence. Those things sometimes are not relayed by the supervisor to the workers adequately. The fence was put up and it looked quite nice. I was not pleased with the fit on one of the gates and told the installer. He did a quick fix that was still not to my liking. I did sign off and the fence was paid for. Upon further inspection I could see some lack of care on the nailing of the fence, a privacy fence. I called the company and expressed my concerns and a site manager came and looked at it and it was taken care of beautifully and very quickly.Oh, they clean up after themselves quite well, too. I now have a beautiful, sturdy fence. This is not a criticism of Ergeon, I think it was just a sub-contractor not doing his best, which, I understand has been addressed. Everyone from the first person I spoke to to get the quote and set up the construction project to the last builder was very professional on a personal level. We had our fence damaged by weather and looked around for options. Ergeon came up wit good Yelp reviews so we thought we would give them a try. It was a fantastic experience. First they were super fast getting back to me. Orlando was on it fast! Right now lumber prices are super high so we did a lot of shopping around. Ergeon was a competitor price for sure, plus they were willing to give us a 30 day quote, which ended up really mattering. By the time we discovered fences are tough to get your homeowners insurance to cover, the other quotes had expired. When we asked "the other guy" to renew the quote four days after it expired, the price had gone up over a thousand bucks. The Ergeon quote was solid and we had still two weeks to get the competitive price. They did a remote video meeting and gave us the quote from that. I admit...I was skeptical of that but before they did the work they came out and did the physical inspection and it matched up perfectly with the quote. Scheduling had a bump or two but only because we were trying to get the work done between Thanksgiving and Christmas and had limited days someone could be home. The project manager was on it and worked hard to get the schedule kinks worked out and was very responsive. She was even willing to communicate with whatever worked best for me (text was the easier way for me). The end result looks great. They came today and were done in about 6 hrs-ish. The cement is drying over the next few days, and that is really the last piece to "finish". If that is anything like the rest of the process, I am confident it will all be perfect. It has seemed through the process that my satisfaction is important so I have no doubts if anything were to pop up, they would be on it! read more

On site work crew is great, finance dept is helpful, scheduling dept is hard to get a hold of especially if you need a repeat visit. I had to withhold 50% payment to get a repair visit scheduled. Repair was done quickly and well so rest of bill was paid but I took a star off for having to wait a month and withhold payment (finance dept had to help me get the repair scheduled) in order to get it scheduled. I would recommend this company however caution against paying full value until you are 100% good to sign off on the project. read more
